This book will help...
This book actually gives you choices in books of diets and weight loss. If you tried other diets and failed, buy this book and give it a go. I have followed this book for about 3 weeks, (and not 100%), I have seen results.

Aging Without Growing Old4 reviews
Judy Lindberg McFarland, Laura Gladys McFarland

Siloam Press, 2003

Practical information on nutrition that works.
From reading the book, it is apparent that this author doesn't just have book knowledge, but has been helping people with nutrition for a long time. It is not a deep, scientific book, but I would say more of a common sense and laymans explanation of what nutritional products work and which don't. Even though its easy to understand, most of the things that I was interested in such as prostate ...

Perfect Weight America: Change Your Diet, Change Your Life, Change Your World17 reviews
Jordan Rubin, Bernard, M.D. Bulwer

Siloam Press, 2008

A great source of information
I really enjoyed reading Jordan's book Perfect Weight. It is very informative and I learned a great many things about what you should and should not eat. I have been a fan of Jordan's since reading his book "Patient Heal Thyself". He is one of most positive and honest people that I know, and will always use his products

Douglas Weiss

Siloam Press, 2003

Absolute, Immediate, and Practical Application for All
Regardless of the state of your marriage (excellent to chaotic), Dr. Weiss' book provides absolute revelation and immediate application. For couples and individuals searching for REAL advice and not rhetorical theory, I cannot recommend this book highly enough. By the time you finish the book, you will have a clear understanding of a healthy marriage and possible root causes if that is not the ...

What You Don't Know May Be Killing You!11 reviews
Don Colbert

Siloam Press, 2004

Unbelievable!
This book is an eye opener. I can't believe how lethal the Amercian diet has become--we are overfeed and undernourished-and how uneducated people are about nutrition. I recommend that everyone pick up a copy of this book and follow Dr. Colbert's suggestions. Eating healthy is easier than most people think. I especially enjoyed the sections on mercury poisoning and the Atkins diet. I easily give ...

The Maker's Diet: The 40 Day Health Experience That Will Change Your Life Forever216 reviews
Jordan Rubin

Siloam Press, 2004

MUST BUY
To say that this book saved my life would not be an overstatement. I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease nearly three years ago at age 23. The doctors put me on Remicade (which I stopped breathing during an infusion), Entocort (steriod - so can't take that forever), and Pentasa (which made me throw up for a week and a half straight - couldn't hold down even liquid meal replacement shakes). This ...

The Maker's Diet: Shopper's Guide12 reviews
Jordan Rubin

Siloam Press, 2005

Concise
I loved this shoppers guide. It took all the guesswork out of shopping for my health. I also purchased "The Maker's Diet" book by Jordan Rubin and loved it as well. It gave me the opportunity to understand the motivation and the "why" behind the food which helps me make it personal in my life. I recommend this to anyone wanting more energy and a healthier lifestyle. The shoppers guide is easy ...

Toxic Relief: Restore Health and Energy Through Fasting and Detoxification35 reviews
Don Colbert

Siloam Press, 2003

This saved my life!!!
I had just found out I have diabetes and an extremely toxic liver. I got this book, followed what it said, and thanks to a no nonsense doctor...I was healed by diet and excersize...NO chemical pills people. Don't believe your doctor when he tells you the only way to fix these problems is to throw chemicals into your body... because he is WRONG!!! I'm living proof! Thanks for giving me my life ...

The Seven Pillars of Health54 reviews
Don Colbert, Mary Colbert

Siloam Press, 2007

WOW!!! (there are no words)
The Seven Pillars of Health is an extremely sturdy foundation to build a healthy life! There is SO much information in this book about just about everything related to health. I learned much from this book, and being divided into 50 days was a great way to space out the information. I had only one problem with this book...Dr. Colbert owns his own vitamin company! This was disappointing because it ...

Seven Pillars of Health Personal Health Improvement Kit10 reviews
Don Colbert

Siloam Press, 2008

Seven Pillars of Health
This is a great book for those with a lot of money to implement most of the suggestions made by the author and his wife. You have to be a very good dietician to fix the meals. Who can eat fruits and vegtables all day long? The water portion if follwed will cost between 2000 and 5000 dollars. The exercises are good but not for an old person or someone in a wheelchair. The audience is geared ...

The 7 Love Agreements: Decisions You Can Make on Your Own to Strenthen Your Marriage1 review
Douglas Weiss

Siloam Press, 2005

Great book for those wanting to improve their marriage on their own
This book is very practical and very helpful. Weiss's aim is to help someone improve his/her marriage by changing himself, not his spouse. This book will challenge you and guide you in ways that you can take specific actions to improve your marriage by yourself, regardless of your spouse's attitude.

You Are Not What You Weigh7 reviews
Lisa Bevere

Siloam Press, 2007

Not the "Usual" Approach
Most books that address body weight and the issues surrounding it, take the approach of tackling the unwanted weight itself. This is a book about inner transformation - the ONLY way that true and LASTING change takes place. Lisa explores the spirtual dimension of every woman's battle with the bulge, and gives specific instruction for victory. Don't read this book unless you're ready to be ...

Janet C. Maccaro

Finally an herbal remedy book without the New Age hype!
I saw Dr. Maccaro on a talk show on the TV and found here to be very personable. Her book is a great resource for information and redmedies. I have been looking for an natural healing book but so many of them have so much New Age spirituality I could not bring myself to buy them. This book will give you down to earth remedies and uplifiting Christian veiwpoints. I found it very refreshing and ...

Maximum Energy: Top Ten Health Strategies to Feel Great, Live Longer, And Enjoy Life42 reviews
Ted Broer

Siloam Press, 2006

Excellent book on health!
This was a well-written book on health, and I am thoroughly enjoying it! I hope more people are exposed to Dr. Broer's teachings on health and can apply what he knows to improve their own health. This is an excellent book on health, filled with information that has not always been readily available to the public at large.

Get a Grip1 review
Douglas Weiss

Siloam Press, 2007

Get a Grip
I think this is an excellent book for anyone struggling, and really desiring to address some difficult "internal" issues. Dr. Weiss's pace and process are very helpful. Even, just reflecting upon the concepts can be of benefit to the reader. Some of the examples sound either contrived, or oversimplified, but the focus of the book is not on them, it is on the reader. Good luck, God Bless.

The Seven Pillars of Health 50-day Journal4 reviews
Don Colbert

Siloam Press, 2007

A New Beginning
This book has started me on the path to a more healthy lifestyle. When my sons were at the Air Force Academy, they were constantly told, "water is the elixer of life". Water is the first pillar. That made the book credible for me. I am implementing the steps slowly, one at a time. I've also convinced a group of friends to do this with me. Drinking more water is our first step. My diabetic friend, ...

Spiritual Secrets to Weight Loss
This is the best Christian book I've ever read about weight loss because it gets right to the heart of the matter - God's word and plans for us - to live and be healthy. Stress Less17 reviews
Don Colbert

Siloam Press, 2008

At Last a Doctor That Includes the Spiritaul with Western Medicine
I was surprised at all of the insight the Doc put into this book with his personal experiences and health issues. The biblical references were very poignant and added a clarity to issues discussed that for lack of better example would make Homer Simpson go "DOH". Bible and science working hand in hand. What a concept (I dont know why this stressed some of the reviewers out so much). When the ...
