High Country Bride (The McKaslin Clan: Historical Series, Book 2) (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical #11)1 review
Jillian Hart

Steeple Hill, 2008

Heartwarming Story
This was a wonderful heartwarming story of two people who were able to find love. Joanna would do anything for her two kids but there was no money and no home. Aiden was a good christian who helped. My one problem was the fact that Aiden went back and forth about his feelings-either his heart was broken or he thought she was wonderful.

Susan May Warren

Steeple Hill, 2008

Great romantic suspense!

None other than David Curtiss, the American Delta Force captain she's been secretly in love with since their college days together in Russia. But now they're both in trouble, because the kingpin of this human slavery ring, known as the Serpent, knows who they are ...

Homecoming3 reviews
Jill Marie Landis

Steeple Hill, 2008

An exceptional tale from a gifted storyteller
Honestly, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a book as much as I enjoyed HOMECOMING. It's been a long time since one of my favorite authors wrote a book in my favorite genre and drew me into the characters the way Jill does with this story. A fish out of water or an underdog are my favorite characters. Jill does it all here: emotional trauma, motivating backstory, worlds colliding, ...

The Prince Charming List (Pritchett Series #3) (Life, Faith & Getting It Right #25) (Steeple Hill Cafe)1 review
Kathryn Springer

Steeple Hill, 2008

I love Kathryn Springers work!
Once again Kathryn Springer has written a book I had to read in one sitting. I love her style - witty and funny, with lots of character depth. I have followed her books from the beginning and always run to the bookstore when they are released, because I know I'm in for a good read. I get the chocolate ready, curl up on the couch and enjoy! If you haven't read a book by Kathryn yet, you are ...

Final Justice (Reunion Revelations, Book 6) (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense #104)1 review
Marta Perry

Steeple Hill, 2008

A Ripping Good Story
Most of Jennifer Pappas old schoolmates attended the ten-year reunion at Magnolia College. Josie Skereritt couldn't attend. Her skeleton had been discovered by a construction crew breaking ground for the new library. Penny Brighton isn't there either, probably because she's the prime suspect in Josie's death. Mason Grant is there, though. He was Jennifer's closest friend back in school, but their ...

Seaside Cinderella1 review
Anna Schmidt

Steeple Hill, 2008

Nice story and fun "visit" to the ocean and the 1800's
A good story with some interesting characters and a fun seaside environment. I gave it four stars because the story became a little weighed down and seemed to loose the plot. The last half of the book was a bit of a let down. The reasons for Gabe, the main lead, becoming engaged to another woman was poorly done and out of character. This is a main character who was clearly strong willed and ...

Homespun Bride (The McKaslin Clan: Historical Series, Book 1) (Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical #2)6 reviews
Jillian Hart

Steeple Hill, 2008

A beautiful, poetic western inspirational historical romance
Set in Montana Territory in the early 1880s, Jillian Hart's inspirational historical romance HOMESPUN BRIDE makes the West come alive. As a meditation on the Psalm 23:1 (The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want) this second chance romance gives a glimpse into how God answers prayers, not necessarily in our planned time but in the fullness of an individual's life and with an unimaginable ...

Blind Promises (Steeple Hill Women's Fiction #60)7 reviews
Diana Palmer

Steeple Hill, 2008

This is NOT a sleeper!
I'm a little apalled at the first customer's review by calling this story one to 'take a nap'! Although, before reading this book, I had never heard of or read Diana Palmer's previous sellers (including those written under her old pen name 'Katy Currie') I found this book to be very good and insightful. I must admit that in some parts the predictability of what would happen next was point ...

Day by Day (Home Ties Trilogy, Book 2) (Steeple Hill Women's Fiction #45)1 review
Delia Parr

Steeple Hill, 2007

Day by Day ~ Reviewed
A timely novel for grandmothers raising grandchildren, but more than that, it's a great read. Day by Day is a heartwarming story of three women, dreaming of the day they retire and how they'll spend those years. But each of their lives gets interrupted and dreams are put aside. Parr deals with the subject with honesty, not hiding the real emotions these women go through. A grandmother myself, ...

The Cowboy Takes a Bride (Mule Hollow Matchmakers, Book 9) (Love Inspired #454)
Debra Clopton

Steeple Hill, 2008

Sugar Rae Lenox is famous…in Mule Hollow. For wanting her name in lights on a Hollywood marquee. For wanting to leave. And for thinking the local matchmakers are mighty mistaken! Why applaud the attraction between her and a too-handsome cowboy with boots of lead? Ross Denton lives on the outskirts of town on some dusty ranch. And the only place he wants to see his name is on a marriage certificate. So why isn't she singing and dancing away ...

Picket Fence Promises: Pritchett Series #2 (Life, Faith & Getting It Right #23) (Steeple Hill Cafe)3 reviews
Kathryn Springer

Steeple Hill, 2008

A delightful, thought-provoking read
This book arrived on Monday, and I was finished by Thursday...amidst chasing two toddlers around my house, no less! I couldn't put it down. Kathryn Springer brings her characters to life in a way that makes you feel like you live right there in Prichett! :) The way she weaves God's word and wisdom into her stories is inspiring. I feel like I could give these books to a non-believing friend ...

An entertaining story

Sure there are times she'd like to ship Mitzi, her assistant, to another planet, but other than that she has no complaints. The Whitney Chronicles: The Whitney Chronicles, Book 1 (Life, Faith & Getting It Right #1) (Steeple Hill Cafe)18 reviews
Judy Baer

Steeple Hill, 2006

Laugh Out Loud
This is a sort of Christian girl's alternative to Bridget Jone's Diary and I can honestly say I was enthralled from beginning to end. Until I started reading chick lit I was never a fan of first person POV but it really works with these sorts of books. Part of me is a bit stunned that I am of the age where I am identifying with these women but another part of me rejoiced and cried with them. I ...

Excellent start to the series
Andrea Hampton is used to the safety and security of her big city job. However, nothing will keep her from running back to her sister's side after Rachel is involved in a horrific accident. But helping Rachel and her grandmother open up a bed and breakfast? Ridiculous...and yet that is the position she finds herself in. Carpenter Cal Burke seems willing to help. Just what is going on with ...
