Clinton Anderson's Downunder Horsemanship: Establishing Respect and Control for English and Western Riders 44 reviews Clinton Anderson, Ami Hendrickson
Trafalgar Square Books, 2004
Great Book !!! Clinton is Awesome! This book is great at illustration. I have a new horse that is only 5 yrs old and these techniques are working great. The book is very easy to follow and it totally helps to read each section over and over until you get it down. He gives do's and don't's and classic mistakes etc which help you to fine tune your technique because you know what mistakes to watch for in yourself.

Great for beginners and advanced stitchers I hadn't touched embroidery for about 40 years and this book is so detailed with TONS of photos that I had no trouble learning lots of new stitches. I took it to work and shared it with two very experienced embroiders and both were very impressed with the variety of stitches presented and the detailed images.

Great reference For whoever said there is nothing new in this book you must be a very proficient and contentiousness horse person. I found this book pack full of goodies. Perhaps there is nothing "new" for you, but for most horse owners it is a fantastic book.

The Big Book of Weaving: Handweaving in the Swedish Tradition: Techniques, Patterns, Designs and Materials 5 reviews Laila Lundell, Elisabeth Windesjo
Trafalgar Square Books, 2008
Great Resource I purchased this book for a very specific reason - to figure out how to make my 4 harness Glimakra into an 8 harness. It did that and so much more. If I were a beginning weaver, this book would be a "must have" in my library. As a more seasoned weaver, I feel much the same way. Every technique has not only a verbal description but good diagrams as well. It covers the basics with good hints ...

Junior Knits 14 reviews Debbie Bliss
Trafalgar Square Books, 2004
Great collection of patterns for big kids This book earns points right away by providing patterns for older kids. Why are there so few patterns available for kids who have passed the toddler years? The patterns in this book are typical of Debbie Bliss's style--classic and elegant. Even the most style-conscious kids will like these things, but none of the patterns are fussy or trendy. Several of the patterns are for boys, and, although I ...
