This is the best book I have seen for Visual Basic.
I have been programing with Basic since 1975 and
I have read and studdied many books on the subject. I work almost strictly in graphics and
without this book you can do very little graphics using the standard Visual Basic commands.
This book covers every aspect of the API's and has left out very few. The ones that were left out
you would probubly never need anyway.

I received this book an aide to help me prepare for a test I have this week. In two days I read 303 pages. The only problem I found was on page 159. The "HINT" given to find the "percentage increase" is WRONG.

Beginner's best choice
Resently I got an assignment to build a web page but I had absolutely no experience. Fortunately, I had picked this book up intending some day to read it. Using HTML3 as my only source of reference, I was able to build a multi-paged web site with over 400 links world-wide. If it hadn't been for this book, I'd still be scratching my head and wondering how to start.

Leo Laporte is an exclent author and has two television shows, Call For Help, And The Screen Savers. Which both air at 7 and 9 eastern standered time on ZDTV.
