Cisco Voice over Frame Relay, ATM, and IP (Networking Technology) 7 reviews Stephen McQuerry, Kelly McGrew
Cisco Press, 2001
ERRORS, ERRORS, ERRORS I read this book in preparation for the CVOICE test. It had a lot of good content but the amount of errors in the book were unbelievable. It sometimes made the topic hard to understand. I think the editors of this book need to get their eyes checked. Other than that the book covered all the necessary material and then some.

ISDN and Broadband ISDN with Frame Relay and ATM (4th Edition) 1 review William Stallings
Prentice Hall, 1998
The material in this book is outdated. The material in this book is outdated, although more conceptually than technically. Much of the technical information still holds true, but the conceptual perspective in which the reader is placed is 5-10 years old. I would not recommend this book as the technical information could be gained from other, more current sources.

The Book of IRC: The Ultimate Guide to Internet Relay Chat 7 reviews Alex Charalabidis
No Starch Press, 1999
Great IRC "User's Manual" This book is written by an experienced IRC user and operator and I can't think of anyone better qualified to write this book. Additionally, his sense of humor makes this book enjoyable to read as you find out about all the features of IRC. This book is useful for anyone who spends time on IRC, from the "newbies" to veteran IRC "addicts" like me. I wish there had been a book like this around six ...

Frame Relay: Principles and Applications (Data Communications and Networks) 4 reviews Philip Smith
Addison-Wesley Pub (Sd), 1993
A great book on Frame Relay The book is in two parts and each addresses Frame-Relay in a different way. The first part is a largely non-technical introduction to the subject. If you want to know what Frame-Relay is, why it is the way that it is, what it is meant to be used for and how it might fit into a networking system, then you will get all of that here. The second part is a technical description of the protocol. It ...

Cisco Frame Relay Solutions Guide 3 reviews Jonathan Chin
Cisco Press, 2004
CCIE Lab recommended reading; Good Frame Ralay reference!! OSPF running in NBMA and in Hub-and-Spoke network topology (partially meshed networks) used to be a never land for me. I found it hard to commit the details of every possible changes in this topology into my long term memory. Before I found this book, I used to "memorize" gotcha as many as I can, and I always had hard time to answer my own why. Don't mention configure it with confidence. A ...
