Ricochet: Confessions of a Gun Lobbyist11 reviews
Richard Feldman

Wiley, 2007

fascinating behind the scenes view of the life in the gun lobby
I wasn't sure what I was going to get when I picked up "Ricochet" but it turned out to be a page turner. Richard Feldman is a skillful writer and an engaging story teller. His prose is easily approachable, passionate, and at the same time, avoids emotional extremes and bumper sticker slogans -- it's easy to see how he has been such a successful lobbiest. The "confessions" aren't ...

Ricochet In Time21 reviews

Top-Notch!
Lesbian fiction is getting better and better! This book has a big following, and I can see why: top-notch all the way. Great characters, solid story, nice pace and structuring. There's nothing flashy or shocking or annoying about this book; it's just good, old fashioned storytelling!

R Is For Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone Mysteries)40 reviews
Sue Grafton

Berkley, 2005

Not quite on par with the others in the series
I've been reading Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone mysteries for years and have loved the series as a whole. Kinsey is a character who seems so real it's as if she'll jump right off the page. She's also a woman with whom I can relate, the kind of woman I'd enjoy having as a friend because she is who she is without any pretense. When Kinsey has had problems with love, I've been sad for her and ...

Ricochet: A Novel62 reviews
Sandra Brown

Simon & Schuster, 2006

Ricochet
This book was a disappointment. I couldn't get drawn in because I didn't like the main characters. Duncan Hatcher was especially hideous. I don't know which was more disturbing, his involvement with suspect Elise, or his total disregard of police procedure. The story never seemed to end, and didn't have the expected drama and suspense.

A Great Read
Great book! I read it in one afternoon, really enjoyed the story and the narratives embedded in it. Highly recommend for reading on one of those days when that is all you want to do.

In "Mary's Secret," six-year-old Mary has two girlfriends who ...

R Is for Ricochet117 reviews
Sue Grafton

Pan Books, 2005

R is for ?
I like the writing of Sue Grafton. I don't mean to be chauvinistic, but she writes like a man. Women novelists generally do not portray sexual intimacy as men do. Grafton does! It is a reoccurring style that I have unexpectedly found in her other books that I have had an opportunity to read. These include A IS FOR ALIBI, N IS FOR NOOSE and S IS FOR SILENCE. So far, I've enjoyed all her ...

Ricochet (Harlequin Intrigue Series)4 reviews
Jessica Andersen

Harlequin, 2006

MOST EXCELLENT STORY/MYSTERY -
This is a great story/mystery with a great cast of characters. From the Chief of the Bear Claw Police department, William Parry to the little known, but strong suspect, Michael Swopes. Fitzroy O'Malley wanted to retire from BCCPD crime scenes, so Parry brought in Alissa Wyatt, the crime scene artist and her friends, Cassie Dumont and Maya Cooper. The members of the Police departments ...
