Laugh Out Loud!
Bart's book is absolutely hilarious and inspiring. His stories are witty and humorous. I was laughing out loud at the Taco Bell story, the cross country bike story, and the bare buns run! Great read, I couldn't put it down. Bart is a legend.

Well worth reading.
Readers of the Keller series typically ask themselves what it is about the stamp collecting hit man that makes him so appealing; we want him to win. On the surface I suppose we are attracted by the adventure. Imagine you have suddenly lost everything: assets, home, family and friends, and had to go on the run. Then imagine that on top of that, you are the most wanted person in America and the ...

Attention women runners (and nonrunners)!
This book is great for getting you off the couch and out into the running world! The author includes her own personal stories of her running adventures and makes you feel like you can do anything. And best of all, it's written by a woman for women: young and old, fat and skinny, runners and non-runners alike. I started with the beginning running program and I can already run 5 minutes at a time! ...

Family Stories
Ann Patchett is a wondrous writer, capable of small miracles of grace that come seemingly from nowhere, illuminating her characters and bringing joy to the reader. Even though RUN, her latest novel, may have flaws, how can I give it less than five stars for the joy it gave me throughout? The joy that kept me reading from one magic moment to the next. The joy, even more, that would make me put the ...

Concise with current views on life development psychology.
I used this book in our Life Development Psychology. In the course of my study, everything I needed to know is in the book. Feldman is very thorough and organized. I have read other books on this subject in our library but by far this is a superior book. This book deserves 5 stars.

Harlan Cohen understands this generation.
When I bought this book I didn't pay attention to who the author was. I guess the title was what caught my eye first! I have been a fan of Harlan Cohen's newspaper column and find his advice to be spot on. The book is so full of good advice, and while much of it is focused on college life, there is a lot of useful information for any young adult moving out on their own. For example, ...

Lots of Detail
He makes his point over and over and over again. I had to read this for a class, and the running joke we had was that he could have got his point across in 75 pages and saved alot of water from not having to print as many pages. Overall, this is a really good book, its nearly impossible to counter his argument due to the enormous amounts of facts he has from traveling the globe.

One quote sticks out...
One passage amoungst many sticks out from this book that is full of wisdom if you take the time to read closely and relate it to the many aspects of your life and the lives of others: He thought back on what had happened like a reporter. Bible of fashion design business!
I've read a few books on how to start and run your own fashion design business, and this is one of the best ones I've read so far. Not only is it shorter then a lot of the huge books, but it's too the point and Mary writes in a style that is very easy to understand. She gives great advise and there are good examples and pictures in the book to help you further understand how to do things the best ...

Very worthwhile book
Before I started reading this, I was a slug - never exercised and was 70 lbs. overweight. I started a weight loss program and was walking religiously, but found that I became used to the intensity so I needed something more. My daughter recommended this book as a way to "learn" running and I've been following it ever since. I've now lost 54 pounds and am about 25% through the program. My goal is ...

Oh, I wish I were there again!
Allison's description of life as a safari guide and his interaction with beast and man will put a smile on your face. While most of the book showcases Allison's sense of humor, I also enjoyed the chapters which showed his heart. His ability to poke fun at himself and others in good-humored fashion left me hoping that he will continue to share his journey in a sequel. As the owner of a travel ...

Phenomenal book on running, best I've come across.
I have been reading about running for the past couple of years--probably more than I ought to. I came upon this book recently in the library (most of my reading is online!) and upon poring through its pages have realized that a lot of what I've read either came from this book, or this book has a lot of what I've read in it. Noakes has written this tome relying upon the best science we have for ...

This is much improved from the first and second editions. (I didn't read the third edition and may not have read all of the second.) The book can be read as a (slightly to moderately advanced) investment guide ...
