Germs beware!
This is an excellent book for introducing kids as young as 3 to the concept of germs and the use of sanitary precautions. It's a wonderful pre-school teachers aid to bathroom ettiquete and a good tool for parents. The illustrations are wacky and colorful but the message is clear & direct. It's a must for all early ed teachers and a great gift to your local preschool ! Enjoy!

This book is great. Both of my kids love it. I don't know why it says it's for ages 4-8, since It's a collage-type picture book. There are some words in the collages, but nothing that is necessary to read in order to enjoy this book. I think it's perfect for the 1-2 year old. (Would make a great 1st birthday gift.)

Hilarious!!
This book is the most original children's book I've read in years. Everything about it is funny, especially all of the little pictures and captions throughout the book. I would say this book is better than the Captain Underpants series. If you like him, you'll definitely like Uncle Stinky!

Great for Pre-Teens
I just finished reading this book, my children are older now, if this book would have been available when they were younger I am sure they both would have enjoyed reading it. The story of Laurie & Chuck (Chuckles) is very inspiring for kids reaching their teens. With society today I think this book should be available for all kids to read.

ideal story for kindergartners!
I had the chance to purchase this book by Margaret Read MacDonald--one of my fav authors--at the National Storytelling Festival, and my granddaughter just loves it. So do I, because it communicates traditional values in a subtle way. And because the illustrations are gorgeous. I'm buying more to give to new parents in my church.

Loved Smelly Socks
My family has always loved Robert Munsch's book " I Have to Go". My 4yr old liked to read it so much he brought it into the bath with him. Needless to say we had to replace it and that is when I saw all the other stories that Robert has. I bought several of his books and I have to say that "Smelly Socks" is one of our favorites. I think my son asked me to read it everynight for 1 week straight!!!!

Hilarious text and drawings
This is one my favorite bedtime books for my 4 year old - A great rhyme, very funny (to both of us). Bill's glee in his dirtiness is infectious and his struggle with the obsessively clean dogsitter is captivating while simple. It may be out of print in the US which is suprising -- I'd think it would achieve close to classic status among the nursery school set.
