In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire Step-By-Step series covering MS Office. I strongly suggest any student, curious George or researcher to pick up a copy and read it. I recently purchased MS 2007 Access, Excel, Power Point and Word set in the Step-By-Step series. The authors are concise in their descriptions without being boring and the information is invaluable.

Beginning Windows? This is the only book you need
I got this for my 12 year old son and he has went through the whole book in 3 weeks. He uses the CD rom to work the assighnments and actually showed me several things I didn't know. It realy covers the system restore capabilities of windows well. I highly recomend it to anyone who is first time windows users. They need to make a level 2 to this book though.

This has been a great book for learning Project 2007. If you already know Project, it does a great job of providing review material, guiding you away from unnecessary chapters. This book is oriented towards people with absolutely no prior SQL experience. The first 3 chapters are nothing more than how to install and configure Sql 2005 server.
