Microsoft® Office Word 2007 Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft)) 12 reviews Joyce Cox, Joan Preppernau
Microsoft Press, 2007
Outstanding! In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire Step-By-Step series covering MS Office. I strongly suggest any student, curious George or researcher to pick up a copy and read it. I recently purchased MS 2007 Access, Excel, Power Point and Word set in the Step-By-Step series. The authors are concise in their descriptions without being boring and the information is invaluable.

Step-by-Step Medical Coding 2007 Edition (Step-By-Step Medical Coding) 1 review Carol J. Buck
Saunders, 2006
This book is for students with an instructor This book is great on information and the way they explain everything. The problem is there is no answer keys on the chapter review questions. This is hard if you are doing this as a self study. You have no way of checking your answers. I had to enroll through evolve's on line self study program to get the answers. The cost was $39.95. This on line self study is well worth the money. They ...

Anyone learning MS Project should also understand Project Management, just like you should know grammar when you are using MS Word. This book also uses good examples and is very enjoyable to read. In fact, it teaches in such a way that allows me to be able to grasp its definitions! Very ...

Step by Step: A Memoir of Hope, Friendship, Perseverance, and Living the American Dream 2 reviews Bertie Bowman
One World/Ballantine, 2008
Long Time Friend I have known Bertie for 35 years, since I was a messenger on the Foreign Relations Committee. Years ago, Bertie told me some of the stories in the book; I witnessed many; and I knew about many more. Bertie used to introduce me as his cousin to his friends in the Senate, to their surprise. I leave it to the reader to guess my color.
I never learned more than when I worked for Bertie. If a ...

Microsoft SQL Server(TM) 2005: Database Essentials Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft)) 8 reviews Solid Quality Learning
Microsoft Press, 2006
Really basic This book is oriented towards people with absolutely no prior SQL experience. The first 3 chapters are nothing more than how to install and configure Sql 2005 server. There is a decent background on database design. Overall, its just an ok book. You can learn what this book contains just by spending a little time on the web.

Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Step by Step 4 reviews John Sharp

Great book for someone new to C# I got this book because I wanted to learn Visual Studio 2008 and C# at the same time. It has certainly done the trick. I am currently at page 449, and I am amazed at how much information John Sharp has put in book. Even more amazing is that his teaching technique of a brief overview, and explaining while doing examples is surprisingly effective. If you are a Pro Developer familiar with C++ or ...
