it's the story, not the writing, it's the story, not the writing........
i love this book, and now that i have read it 6-7 times, i use it like a sleeping pill: before i crash out each night, i read a bit of it. it's very relaxing, i know it so well, the writing is not bad, not bad at all, and it is after all a young adult novel..... but the story is magical. i love the characters, not so much the ones in the movie, although i did love the movie. i love the bella ...

Grisham is the best story teller there is, and he comes out swinging with this book. Some stories are better than others, but all seven stories are very entertaining. The first story is especially hilarious and the last story is touching. All of them will keep you interested and there's enough here to make this worth the purchase. I found the paranormal aspects unique, the love story was sweet and touching, and the southern town/family history part was interesting.
