True crime masterpiece
The Stranger Beside Me is the best true crime book I have ever read. However, it is also the most disturbing, so much so that more than once, I vowed not to finish it. Of course, I did finish it, and the story will probably stick with me for a while. The book is, for the most part, a chronological account of Ted Bundy's life. It's fascinating that the author was actually friends with Bundy ...

THE KILLER BESIDE ME...
This is an excellent true crime book. It has an unusual twist in that the author and the subject of the book, serial killer Ted Bundy, had a platonic relationship that arose from the time they were co-workers for a Seattle, Washington crisis center. Quite frankly, the author initially had no idea that Ted Bundy was anything other than what he appeared to be: a handsome, intelligent, charismatic, ...

Couldn't put it down
Once you accept the premise of Ted Bundy surviving his execution then the book is a terrific read. I'm surprised it hasn't been made into a movie. It is a much better book than his follow-up, "Skelter". I think Perry got into Ted Bundy's personality much better than many of the non-fiction books on Bundy. The friend of a friend of mine actually narrowly missed being a Bundy victim---she was ...

Great fast-paced novel!
This is a great book and I think I'll look for other books by this author. Not as good as SOUL TAKERS, but an excellent follow-up. I can't wait for his next one.
