Barjavel's Best!!
I have read quite a few books by Barjavel by now and this was my favorite. Most of his books are SCI-FI type, this was his only real "novel". It takes place during the war at a boarding school for boys. The character development in this book far surpasses his other works. I read this in French, and now I wish I could find it in English for my friends.
