Eclipse (The Twilight Saga, Book 3)876 reviews
Stephenie Meyer

Little, Brown Young Readers, 2007

The standout of the Saga..
I had already read the first two books in about a 2 days time so I knew I had to order Eclipse, the third in the saga. This one is full of more action than the preceding books and I personally found it more enjoyable. I won't go in to detail because I don't want to spoil the story, but if you have read the first two, then you HAVE to keep going! And if you haven't yet read the first two books, ...

The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Teens207 reviews
Sean Covey

Fireside, 1998

Saved me from a Bad path
I come from a horrible background, my family has no moral structure, they're either on drugs or selling drugs. My freshmen year of high school was really hard for me, my moms drug use escalated and I felt trapped. I was about to give up and go towards the bad stuff my family did/does. I just wanted to be accepted, I was too weird for the normal kids, but not hardcore enough the kids that let ...

The Giver3078 reviews
Lois Lowry

Laurel Leaf, 2002

Superb book for young people
As a teacher of learning disabled students...I can say that all of my pupils loved this book. Some of the ideas might need a bit of explaining, but it is a story that kids can really get into.

Zoey cannot always be good!
I read the reviews on this book before I bought it and was really surprised at the number of people that didn't like it since the previous books were so awesome. I am even more surprised now that I have read the book because I think it complements the series extremely well. Zoey is not perfect and neither are her friends. Throughout the book I kept asking myself what would I do if I was in Zoey's ...

Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations65 reviews
Alex Harris, Brett Harris

Multnomah Books, 2008

Great book for every teen
Like several reviewers wrote, I picked up this book for my 13 year old and first read it myself. It not only inspired me to do some "hard things", it helped me realize how I can challenge my kids to stretch beyond what they think their limitations may be . My daughter is reading it now and loves it and I want my husband to read it next. I will recommend it to everyone I know who has a teen or ...

Twilight is Awesome!!!
The Twilight book is absolutely awesome. It is one of the best books I have ever read. This book tells the tale of a wonderful love story but also has the element of suprise and danger that makes the story very inticing. I loved it and am currently on the second book of the series. I give it two tumbs up. Twilight is a MUST read.

Your Money or Your Life: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence194 reviews
Joe Dominguez, Vicki Robin

Penguin (Non-Classics), 1999

I loved this book!
The other reviewers have pretty much covered the content of this book. Admittedly I haven't used all of the ideas, however now I have become very aware of how I spend my money and how many hours I have to work to purchase the ever evasive 'thing I must have or die'. Totally amazing! I now realize how much stuff I really have that I really do not need. Keeping these things actually cost you ...

The Final Warning (Maximum Ride, Book 4)111 reviews
James Patterson

Little, Brown and Company, 2008

Maximum Ride
This is the fourth book in the unbelievable Maximum Ride triligy. You might find this book quite different from its prequel. This book is mostly based on the good vs. evil side of the story. Most of the flock now know almost everything about themselves. Now its only about staying alive, and ofcourse, saving the world. I would recommend this book to all age groups from kids to adults. Still I ...

The Perks of Being a Wallflower1262 reviews
Stephen Chbosky

MTV, 1999

One of my favorite books to re-read
The honesty of the character in this story is what makes it one of my favorites. He has a wonderful personality and it's always fun to hear what he had to say about his high school experience. I'd recommend this to anyone from 14-20 years old.

Richelle Mead

Razorbill, 2008

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better!!!
This book is the sequel to Vampire Academy, and it's defenitly not just for YA! I enjoyed the first book, but I LOVE this one. There's nothing like a good twist, something that despite your best efforts, you just couldn't see it coming. Well, you get that here and then some! Richelle Mead has a way of sweeping you off her feet with her writing and she didn't hold back on us here. I am eagerly ...

WOW!!!
Though I no longer fit into the YA catergory, I can't help but to dabble every now and then. I was lucky enough to come across this new series. WOW, I have to admit when I first started this book, I couldn't quite make myself like the characters, but no more than 5 pages later I was hooked and the characters fate became my own. That's how you know you're reading a great book, you getted pulled ...

He's Just Not That Into You: The No-Excuses Truth to Understanding Guys (The Newly Expanded Edition)819 reviews
Greg Behrendt, Liz Tuccillo

Simon Spotlight Entertainment, 2006

Very Empowering!
This book is great. Bought it after getting dumped. I'd read a little everytime I started to feel a little down. It would even make me laugh sometimes. It was amazing how so much of it did apply to situations I had been in. It helped to realize that I am worth more and deserve to have someone that really is into me. I'm definitely keeping this book as a reference on future relationships.
