The Sweet Far Thing (The Gemma Doyle Trilogy) 94 reviews Libba Bray
Delacorte Books for Young Readers, 2007
Maybe it's not REALLY Over... I do understand the fact that people of different stations and races were expected to strictly adhere to 'their own kind', but this is a book, where anything can happen. That is what artistic license and imagination are for. Even with these stipulations, Gemma and Kartik may have possibly been able to get married in India, as Gemma had grown up there and could have been viewed as being one of ...

His Dark Materials Trilogy (The Golden Compass; The Subtle Knife; The Amber Spyglass) 1057 reviews Philip Pullman
Laurel Leaf, 2003
One of the best trilogies I've read in a long time After reading the end of Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit a couple times, and all of the Chronicles of Narnia, I really needed a book that would let me escape from the only reading I had been doing which were scholarly articles on Political Science and the Environment for school. I heard about the Golden Compass due tot he movie, but had not yet seen it. So since I had a gift ...

Renegade (The Lost Books, Book 3) (The Books of History Chronicles) 6 reviews Ted Dekker
Thomas Nelson, 2008
Wanna trip, Baby? Okay... I've been anticipating the final two books in the Lost Books series ever since I read the first page of Chosen, and now my mind has absorbed each and every word of sheer awesomeness.
Renegade is more than a trip, trip, trip. It's a trip and fall, making your mind spin around every bend and curve definitely more than once.
Think of Showdown, The Circle Trilogy, and Skin compressed ...

Chaos (The Lost Books, Book 4) (The Books of History Chronicles) 8 reviews Ted Dekker
Thomas Nelson, 2008
Fantastic! I've followed Dekkers new series "The Lost Books" more out of an obligation and desire to learn more details about the world he created in the original Circle trilogy then out of a desire to be entertained. Chosen, Infidel, Renegade, although they were somewhat enjoyable for the most part the series has been one giant disappointment after another, showing off Dekkers more childish side of writing ...

Chosen (The Lost Books, Book 1) (The Books of History Chronicles) 29 reviews Ted Dekker
Thomas Nelson, 2008
Not a kids book I have to say that way i purchased this it was for a light read. Nothing too deep. I was mistaken. This book ties in at least 3 other books of his outside of the Black, Red, White. Be on the look out for those references. Great writing, very engaging.

Valley of Silence (The Circle Trilogy, Book 3) 104 reviews Nora Roberts
Jove, 2006
Valley of Silence (The Circle Trilogy book #3) I read the first two of this trilogy and just had to fallow it to the end. I'm not normally much into Vampire stories, but these stories have been great fun to read. I just had to see what would happen to that nasty Vampire Queen, the love stories involved and where each person ended up. Did they stay in the now or the past?

Uglies (Uglies Trilogy, Book 1) 269 reviews Scott Westerfeld
Simon Pulse, 2005
Great and very different Sci-Fi!!!!! Last I heard they were making a movie out of the trilogy. This book caught me by surprise as to how good it was. Tally's adventures are incredible and entertaining that you cannot let go of the book. It still reads like a teen book but do not let that stop you from reading this book it is GOOD!!!!!

The Border Trilogy: All the Pretty Horses, the Crossing, Cities of the Plain (Everyman's Library) 38 reviews Cormac Mccarthy
Everyman's Library, 1999
Perfect presentation of a perfect story Just one example of the prose which has prompted me to read this three times:
PAGE 141 OF "ALL THE PRETTY HORSES" (punctuation is as the author intended)
"...They'd ride at night up along the western mesa two hours from the ranch and sometimes he'd build a fire and they could see the gaslights at the hacienda gates far below them floating in a pool of black and sometimes the lights seemed ...

KCS Awesome Book!!!!! Infidel Johnis stepped forward and lifted the ring. He recognized it immediately. "My mother's ring!"
"Your mother's?" Silvie asked. 'Michal wanted you to know that the Horde took it?'
But Johnis didn't think that was what Michal had meant by leaving the ring. Sweat beaded on his forehead. "She's alive."
Johnis is a regular 16 year old in a land similar to our own. There are no cars or electricity, ...

Face the Fire (Three Sisters Island Trilogy) 173 reviews Nora Roberts
Jove, 2002
Nora Roberts Face the Fire Its been a long time since I've enjoyed a trilogy as much as I have the Three Sister's Island books. The third book finished out the story of these wonderfully different women and their special talents. It was so much fun to read all three that I hated to see it end. I could read this trilogy again. Something I don't do often. If your going to read one, plan on reading all three. You won't want ...

Black/Red/White (The Circle Trilogy 1-3) 6 reviews Ted Dekker
Thomas Nelson, 2008
Loved the Circle Trilogy I read the Circle Trilogy about a year ago and decided to re-live it by listening to it via audio CD. It was exciting to hear the books read aloud and I realized that I had either forgotten parts or just experienced it greater with it being read aloud. The characters in the book are so powerful and moving. I enjoyed every moment, as I do every Ted Dekker book.

Rebel Angels (The Gemma Doyle Trilogy) 110 reviews Libba Bray

One of the best sequels Gemma Doyle has had to face much since she discovered her magic. But her journey is not over. Circe and the Rakshana are still after her and she does not know who to trust and who to blame. She does not even know if she can trust her dead friend Pippa. Along with all that she still ...
