Homer Sweet Homer (Adventures of Wishbone)1 review
Carla Jablonski, Homer

Big Red Chair Books, 1998

I thought this book was excellent for any type of kids.
I strongly believe that "Homer Sweet Homer" is an excellent book for kid's or teenagers like me. To tell you the truth my mother thinks it's wonderful book also, not only because she read it also but she'll do anything to get me to read. I am a 13 years old 7th grader that lives in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Ususally when I saw a book in the store I would just walk away from it. I always judged ...

Jack and the Beanstalk (Wishbone-The Early Year)1 review
Brad Strickland, Thomas E. Fuller, ...

Big Red Chair Books, 1999

My second grade son's favorite book
I highly recommend this book for parents who think their kids are ready to try reading on their own. My son rates this book above the Magic Tree House series and surprisingly above the Pokemon books by Tracey West. I wish they would get on the ball and put out more Wishbone The Early Years books.

The Wishbones52 reviews
Tom Perrotta

Berkley Trade, 1998

Rock On
I loved this book. In fact, I loved it so much I went out and bought four copies of it for my guitar playing friends. The Wishbones never stops satisfying, and almost every page is filled with scenes I had experienced or people I knew somewhere along the line. Perotta writes about "boomer" themes almost as well as Stephen King, though not anywhere near as wordy. He creates very likable and ...

Be a Wolf! (Adventures of Wishbone)3 reviews
Brad Strickland

Big Red Chair Books, 1997

Great book ... Great plot!
This is such a good book and mainly because I couldn't find the treasure before the end of the novel. This took place in the Gulf of Mexico. I liked how the author described the setting. It's so cool when Wishbone talked to himself. 5th grader - Nick Gormican

Dog Days of the West (Super Adventures of Wishbone)3 reviews

Lyrick Publishing, 2000

A good book
This is a good book for kids who want to know the story of the book it is based on, Heart of the West. It also has another story worked into it, switching back and forth every two or three chapters. It is also funny, and has a small dictionary of unfamiliar words and phrases with their meanings. I highly recommened this book.

This is an awesome book!
Romeo and Juliet is a great book. Right away you get involved and attached to the characters. I found myself rooting for the characters through the whole book. I was hoping they would finally get to be together. You'll have to read it to find out if they do. Get ready to laugh and cry!

Dog Overboard! (Wishbone Adventure series, Vol 1)2 reviews
Vivian Sathre, Robert Louis Stevenson, ...

Scholastic, 1998

Ye will love this book!
This book is great. Aside from the fact that there's a cute little dog in every page, the book teaches a very important moral. If you sit down just for five minutes with this book, you'll never put it down until you're finished with it! Wishbone is great!
