What a wonderful EC math book!
I looked through (and bought) several Early Childhood math concepts books before I started teaching, and this one was by far the best of the lot. Don't be turned off by the early '70s look of the cover and layout, the "workjobs" are excellent for teaching children math concepts. A Must-have Book
I have made many of the items in this book, and all of them engage the children in hands-on learning. Students really enjoy doing "Workjobs", as we call the activities. Each activity is self-contained. To increase the learning opportunities, I suggest that a fellow classmate "check the work" of the child who has completed the activity.
