I am very annoyed by all the negative reviews that are not the cameras fault but USER DEFAULT. That's not to say the camera is perfect but it comes close esspecially for the price $397.00!
I want to clear up some of the problems other people were having based on them just not reading directions or their tvs, pcs etc. having issues.

good pics and features but slow
Positives:
1. Size is very small- wife loves it, goes in purse easily
2. Decent pics
3. Numerous features- including video+zoom...I like the "Backlight" scene since lot of photos the subjects face goes dark if their background is very bright and this corrects for that (with a flash)

Best entry level camera
I bought this one for my sister in law as a graduation present. It's really amazing. A couple month earlier I bought a Kodak M713 for about the same price not bad either, but this Samsung is better. WHY? Better picture quality, better motion correction, better shutter times... I haven't tried the transfer program, but can't be worse than Kodak's. Be sure to get an SD card.

1. Record high quality without the need for a CD or cassette (its 2008 for goodness sake, moving parts, are you crazy?)

Awesome Camera
This is a 10.2 MP Camera, the picture quality is great, high res and good imaging. Whats even better is the video option, I was expecting something similar to a camera phone, but its quality is superb. Excellent buy for $129 for a great high res camera / video.

I actually own one and I own a sony XDCAM EX1
I don't have much time for this initial report, but let's set a few things straight:
1/ I uses H.264 format with an MP4 wrapper.
2/ When I look at it on my HD monitor I am astounded by the picture as compared with my XDCAM. It's not the same but I can intercut with it for a number of applications. AVHCD is too compressed. It seems everyone but Samsung has gone to AVHCD for the $1000 market.

Great little camera
I bought this camera elsewhere for $99.99 and have been VERY happy with its performance with regards to its camera function. It takes good pictures in both low light and during the day. It has a very convenient size and easily fits in your pocket.
The MP3 and video functions are a nice bonus, but to be honest, I have not had a chance to try them out fully yet.

Amazing little camera
Let me start off by stating I am a professional photographer, so I do have plenty of experience with REAL cameras. :) But, real cameras cost a lot and are bulky and aren't easy to carry around.
