I have been looking for this CD for years!! Our family had a Shaw Chorale LP which contained almost all the songs on this CD. We had a number of excellent holiday albums and played all of them often, but we wore the Shaw Chorale album out! Not only are the musical renditions excellent and very similar to earlier Shaw recordings, the nostalgia evoked for this listener is incomparable!

This is great CD. We love Vol. 1 but it was getting a little over played so we bought Vol. 2. It's THE best thing for a car ride. Especially with a fussy baby who hates cars.

You know, when it was still OK to say "Merry Christmas" to someone on the street. I played this CD and the other Time-Life Christmas CD all December long. This is music for babies, or for children, the people at Baby Einstein understand that little ears have trouble discerning multiple sounds. If you had wanted a classical music CD those are already available. But your baby needs a simple CD with only 1 or 2 instruments. It's not about whether YOU like the CD, but whether your child likes it.
