Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Single Disc) 407 reviews Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett
Paramount Home Entertainment, 2008
It's Not Raiders... This movie isn't isn't great, but it isn't horrible either. It still had some Indy feel to it and held my attention throughout.
I think the problem is the first three movies in the series (except for Temple, maybe) have built such a legendary status because of just how good they were and how good they were in comparison to other movies in the 80's. Add 20 years or so and some nostalgia to the ...

My Neighbor Totoro 549 reviews Noriko Hidaka, Chika Sakamoto
Walt Disney Home Entertainment, 2006
A Magical Movie Hayao Miyazaki's movies all have a magical feel to them and My Neighbor Totoro is no exception. This animated feature follows ten year old Satsuki and her four year old sister Mei on their adventure in the Japanese countryside and encounter with the Lord of the Forest, the giant but very cute Totoro.
You can read the other reviews to find out more about the plot; in this review I want to ...

No Country for Old Men 604 reviews Javier Bardem, Rodger Boyce
Miramax, 2008
Not your typical movie, so don't expect it to be predictable. Great movie. Not your typical movie. Lot's of people didn't like how it wasn't predictable. I enjoyed the fact that I didn't know what was going to happen. It was well directed, scripted, and acted. Can't ask for much more.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Deluxe Edition) 81 reviews Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Newman
Warner Home Video, 2006
Who's going to get the money? Big Daddy (Burl Ives) is dying of cancer and the family's going after 10M worth of inheritance. Brick (Paul Newman) and Cooper (Cooper) are Big Daddy's progeny. Cooper's the eldest, but Brick's the favorite. Unfortunately, Brick's married to Maggie the Cat (Taylor) who hasn't favored him with children yet. Cooper's got a bunch of 'no neck monsters' which puts him in favor.
"Cat on a Hot ...

The Simpsons - The Complete Eleventh Season 82 reviews Dan Castellaneta
20th Century Fox, 2008
Start of the fall, but still great The 11th season is the start of the fall. Homer transforms into childish behavior from his stupidity, with dumb quotes like "Here comes two!" and "that looks like bart!" Some really dumb stuff starts to emerge in this season, but The Simpsons is still strong and this season should still be a must for any fan.
THE BOX. You think about the complaints with season 6 they would have stopped. ...

Robot Chicken: Star Wars 35 reviews Mark Hamill, George Lucas
Turner Home Ent, 2008
Robot Chicken: Star Wars Review Robot Chicken was pretty funny and the only handicap is that it is was too short...Funny situations, exploring some really extreme what if scenarios from the Star Wars Saga. I think that Seth really did great work and I loved the doll animations.

The Monster Squad (Two-Disc 20th Anniversary Edition) 297 reviews Andre Gower, Robby Kiger
Lions Gate, 2007
fantastic buy I am 32 and I still quote lines from this movie. This is another kids movie classic that has been buried since its time of fame. This is a movie that kids today can watch and get addicted to, such as I did back in the day.

Glenn Beck Unelectable 45 reviews Glenn Beck
Arts Alliance America, 2008
A very funny and inspiring video Whatever your political view, Glenn appeals to AMERICANS who truly believe in the power of freedom and opportunity that our country provides us with! Glenn's obvious faith in We The People rather than we the legislature is inspiring to so many of us who feel totally betrayed by our two party system. If you are one of the 80+ percent of Americans who feel like your representatives in every ...

Tinker Bell 20 reviews Mae Whitman, Kristen Chenoweth
WALT DISNEY VIDEO, 2008
TinkerBell and friends delight in this visual spectacle! My 3.5 year-old daughter loves Tinker Bell and all things to do with fairies. When I heard Disney was releasing a Tinker Bell movie, I was very excited and after viewing it today, we are both delighted and happy with the movie.
The story's premise is quite simple - Tinker Bell's origins are shown [and yes, she speaks here], and she finds that her talent is to be a tinker fairy. But, Tinker ...
