Amazing Grace
I love this film for many reasons, and I use the movie in my AP classes to show students the power of a man or woman's perseverance to a cause in which he or she believes. The video was reasonably priced and of good quality. I am extremely pleased with this item.

Okay, but too much crammed into one movie...
Spiderman 3 a necessary title to complete you spiderman collection, but wouldn't be too concerned with getting a copy. ACtion wise its amazing as usual, nothing less what you would expect from a marvel title. however unlike the first two spiderman titles there's to many items crammed into this one movie.

Excellent Debut For Spidey
This review will be split into three sections, they will be The Story, The Characters & The Verdict. This will give you a fair and true description of the movie and its characters and will give you my personal opinion of the movie which should help you make an informed decision on whether to watch this film for the first time or whether to stay away like you have already done for six years. ...

A Web of Fun
In Spiderman 2, Peter Parker, ahem Spiderman, decides to give it up. This is because he is beginning to believe that this wasn't his destiny. Was he really the one who should be looking after the city, especially when the city is still lukewarm about him? But, can Spiderman actually have the gall to turn his back on this city, especially when Doc Ock is running loose, causing havoc? Spiderman ...

"I Am The Last Of My Kind" ~ Diseases Of The Blood, The Green Fairy And Other Gothic Romances
The '92 cinematic release `Dracula' is a dark, exceedingly eerie and surprisingly romantic gothic rendering of the Dracula mythos containing a magnificent performance by Gary Oldman as the infamous Count D. While `Dracula' incorporates all the usual horror elements the horror fan has come to expect from a bona fide horror classic (creepy monster(s), marvelous special effects, lots of blood, ...

Skyrockets to the top of my list as one of the most exciting family films of all time...
I remember as a young boy absolutely loving this movie. At every sleepover this movie was mandatory. I probably saw `The Rocketeer' a record fifty times as a child and then, sadly, I grew up. In fact I haven't seen this movie in almost ten years. Well, I guess I should say `hadn't' as in that I hadn't seen this movie in almost ten years, because thankfully I caught this movie on Encore the ...

Fun Caribbean type movie
A Jamaican man has the dream to make it to the Olympics, and while he is the fastest runner in the Island nation, he is tripped and unable to win. He finds out that there is another opportunity, and that is for a bobsled team, something Jamaica has never attempted because... who would ever dream of a team from a Caribbean Island that competes against the best of the best... they don't even ...

The Civil War film for the history student!
Being an active professor, a war film collector, and a twenty-five-year military veteran, I sometimes tend to be overly-critical of war films, mostly in terms of historical accuracy and "situational believability." The pains the producers took make this both an enjoyable film yet as historically accurate as they could are especially noteworthy. Numerous other reviewers have accomplished ...

A Joint Venture
In a quaint Cornish village, local matron and horticulturalist Grace Trevethyn (Brenda Blethyn) finds herself a new widow with an insurmountable pile of debt. The whole town commiserates with Grace's predicament, but it is Matthew, her gardener (Craig Ferguson), who comes up with a sure-fire plot to raise money for both of them: He will take his few, sickly pot plants to her fancy greenhouse, ...

Time was on his side
There was a time, before the Coen brothers branched out into romantic comedies like No Country For Old Men, when they wrote and produced and directed serious and realistic contributions to the history of business. What we have in this masterpiece of naturalism is a painstakingly accurate reconstruction of a case study that has been or should have been a mainstay of the curriculum from Harvard ...

Absolutely adorable....
I loved this film. It's so low budget and cheap, yet it's immensely watchable, hilarious, and kind of sweet in a dark, sinister way. I think it's Corman's best film (along side his Poe films, which are quite outstanding in their own way), and it's the film that was "infamously" shot in two days. The fact that Corman shot this film at record speed and made a great film is really something ...

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and loved it then. My husband is a nascar nut and I thought he would love it too and he did. It was great watching this with him. This is a movie we will share and watch over and over as our kids get older
