"Just Two People Who Like Warm Rolls" ~ A Love Story For The Obsessive-Compulsive
The '97 release 'As Good As It Gets' is an immensely entertaining and touching comedy romance with the rare ability to make you cry and laugh simultaneously. The storyline will hold your attention from beginning to end, the dialoque is crisp and original with a mulitude of memorable lines and Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt and Greg Kinnear all deliver superb performances. Excellent!
Loved this gangster mob flim. It was unpredictable and smart. The characters were engrossing. Completely believable characters with depth. Great acting and well written. Definitely deserved the oscar it received. Best movie I have seen in ages. I am a tough critic and not impressed by Hollywood.

A Few Good Men [Blu-ray]145 reviews
Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson

Columbia Pictures, 2007

Unamerican Treason!!!
No, not really but I made you look. I just wanted to sound like a typical red-faced hysterical conservative. Do you like the overwrought exclamation marks? Considering how horribly it portrays the US military, it's a good thing A Few Good Men is just a movie. Otherwise, I might feel obligated to judge it as anything other than excellent entertainment and, thus, give it one star. The script ...

The Bucket List [Blu-ray]4 reviews
Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman

Warner Home Video, 2008

Don't Hold Back!
Go ahead and get this movie. You'll find yourself watching Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman in this brilliant performance over and over. Jack Nicholson's movies are always the kind that you want to watch more than once. This one is no exception. As these two characters in the movie face dying from cancer, they tell the audience something about what is important in life. And it's all ...

The Bucket List73 reviews
Jack Nicholson, Morgan Freeman

Warner Home Video, 2008

A Bittersweet Comedy
The Bucket List overflows with laughter, tears, and sentimentality, to say nothing of stunning photography. I hadn't thought of Jack Nicholson as a comedian, nor would I have thought of pairing him with Morgan Freeman. . . but the combination works perfectly! One-liners are sprinkled through the film. Listen carefully so you don't miss one. The best is saved for last. Laugh out loud ...

Warner Home Video, 2007

Awesome Blu-Ray Transfer
I'm going to steer clear of reviewing the movie itself, as there are countless professional review sites for which to read up on that. Not to mention that this is one of the (if not the?) best reviewed movie of its genre. Let's just say the movie itself is great. Now, on to the Blu-Ray review. When I first bought into the Blu-ray format, I told myself that I'd stick to buying the new ...

A Summer place
I loved the film the first time and was not disappointed watching it this time. The seller sent it in excellent condition and a timely manner. I would recommend both the film and the seller to anyone who loves old films as both are an excellent choice.

BEST WIDESCREEN MOVIE EVER ???
Just got my first 32" widescreen about 3 weeks ago, I'm a kid in a candy shop, but after about 50 DVDs, movies, and concerts, THIS masterpiece seems to look the best !?!? Sure, it's always been a hypnotic movie, for 28 years now, but I've never seen it look so breathtaking. If someone else can give me more such title suggestions, I'm open !

Reds (Special 25th Aniversary Edition)101 reviews
Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton

Paramount, 2006

A Great Historical Film
"Reds" is a film rarity as an historical, non-documentary film about real characters (e.g., Jack Reed) and real events that includes interviews with people who actually knew the principal characters involved. This film was nominated for 12 Oscars, including Best Picture, but won only one (Warren Beatty, Director), I suspect as much for political reasons as anything else. I had been waiting YEARS ...

Something's Gotta Give283 reviews
Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton

Sony Pictures, 2004

Good Movie
I love this movie. It's bright and hopeful. I like the ages of the characters and their maturity. The story line is good too. I just don't like the few uses of profanity. I don't see how that is needed.

Sony Pictures, 1999

Visually perfect!
I saw this movie when I was young and absolutely loved it. Not a word is spoken, only sung to the Who's rock opera by the same name. I would call this a "modern day silent film". Innovative for its time. Pete Townshend shows that he is one gifted writer and musician. Briefly, the movie is about a boy who lost his father during World War II before he was born and suffered a tramatic shock ...

Terms of Endearment76 reviews
Shirley MacLaine, Debra Winger

Paramount, 2001

A Film of Joy, Tragedy and Hope.
One of the top grossing films of 1983, including sweeping away 5 Oscars, Terms of Endearment, not only is a heart-felt relationship between a sensitive and compassionate daughter (Debra Winger) and her over bearing mother, (Shirley MacLaine) but also what it means to get caught-up in the day to day: and faced with the really tough things in life like seeing one's child go through unnecessary ...

Mars Attacks!217 reviews
Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close

Warner Home Video, 2004

Sweet!
This film makes me laugh to no end. It is yet another example of Tim Butron's phenominal and unprecidented imagination. This film clearly exemplifies the respect professionals have for Tim Burton when the likes of Jack Nicholson and Sarah Jessica Parker are willing to be disintegrated and disembodied in order to bring his story to life.

One of my movies....
Love this movie as this type of movie fits me to a tee. It is a entertaining movie to watch. Nicholson is always great to watch but Cher, Susan and Michelle are absolutely perfect too. I highly recommend this movie.
