Josh Hartnett, Bruce Willis

Weinstein Company, 2006

Just watch it
This was not a film that I thought I'd like. I had never even heard about it upon its release a couple of years ago, and I'd never talked with anyone who had seen it, let alone recommended it. I ended up watching it while channel-surfing late one night, and was rapidly caught up in the story. First, the cast is as close to "all-star" as you can get for a movie like this, with Morgan ...

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Disney Special Platinum Edition)290 reviews
Roy Atwell, Stuart Buchanan

Walt Disney Video, 2001

Amazing
The older Disney movie's were and are my favorites. This version of Snow White is vibrant and beautiful - the movie has never looked better. Like most Disney DVDs that come and go in their releases it can be sometimes hard to find, so make sure to get the DVD when you can.

Confusion and Terror from Multiple Vantages
The story line of VANTAGE POINT is a brief one: a summit meeting on terrorism aimed at addressing the differences between the Arab world and the Western world is taking place in Salamanca, Spain and the arrival of the President of the United States is greeted with assassination attempts, terrorist explosions, and car chases. The difference in this thriller from the many others of the same genre ...

The Bourne Supremacy (Widescreen Edition)276 reviews
Matt Damon, Franka Potente

Universal Studios, 2004

The Best Kept Secret: This is an extraordinary Christian film.
I have not lost my mind. In the absence of any flow of real Christian entertainment coming out of Hollywood, I think it's very important to point out that this is an extraordinarily Christian film. Bourne is fighting evil; Bourne is seeking to discover those who have enmeshed him in what he knows to be evil; and his conscience guides him as he moves through this rapid paced, wonderfully ...

everything I could ask for
The story, in brief, is a man is rescued by a fishing boat, with amnesia and bullet holes. In his quest to discover his identity, people try to kill him, and he reacts with professional swiftness. He teams up with a young woman, and together they elude the killers while searching for answers and falling in love. This was obviously written with me in mind. I mean, come on--it's got almost every ...

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford180 reviews

Warner Home Video, 2008

The Best Film of 2007
Amidst the bevy of western-themed films that emerged in 2007 (including Seraphim Falls, No Country for Old Men, 3:10 to Yuma (Widescreen Edition), and There Will Be Blood), I found "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" to be the finest film I had seen in many months. "No Country for Old Men", "Seraphim Falls" and "3:10 to Yuma" fall into the broad category of ...

Kill Bill - Volume One1132 reviews
Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu

Miramax, 2004

Bon appetit, good buddy...
-The greatest pure action flick ever made- This is the cinematic weapon of mass destruction, the dream girl orgie of film ecstasy, the Tiger Woods of action-driven movie mania. Kill Bill is in a class all its own, an experience like you've never witnessed before. Tarantino pays homage to many of his favorite films, directors, and genres while incorporating his own distinct style. I'll use ...

The Pelican Brief54 reviews
Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington

Warner Home Video, 1997

The Pelican Brief
This is a movie full of intrigue and suspense. Denzel Washington turns in one of his best performances as Gray Grantham. Julia Roberts is equally as exciting as Darby Shaw a Tulane law student. Together they work to expose a criminal conspiracy that involves many high officials that include the White House. When attempts are made on their lives, it becomes a race to see if they can solve the ...

The Long Kiss Goodnight120 reviews
Geena Davis, Samuel L. Jackson

New Line Home Video, 1997

It's all about attitude....
This movie is all about attitude -- each of the major characters comes on in a particularly over-the-top way, which is good because the plot's pretty thin. Watching Geena Davis morph from housewife to assassin is pretty cool, though, and Samuel L. Jackson plays the reluctant, stumbling hero very well. Another entertaining movie that the critics savaged, but which you'll probably enjoy greatly.
