Sexy DVD!
This DVD is good to watch. My husband and I have watched videos, read books, and even tried enhancement products to spice up our sex life. These are some of the products we have tried vicerex, viapro + maxoderm Vivaxa, Zencore Plus, maxidus. They are very good product. Kiera vs. Colin P&P
I think this movie is very good and has a great soundtrack.(Think I have watched it 3 times in the last 3 months) I do also have the Colin Firth version which I absolutely love. (Think I have watched it 3 times during the same 3 months) Both have Pros and Cons. Keira Knightly version Pros: 1)Absolutely love the music - had to buy the soundtrack - it does so well to set the mood, every time ...

Best series ever
If you like the first two seasons of prison break, you will not be dissapointed with the season 3 dvd. In my opinion, this is one of the best, if not the best television series on tv to date. Like i said earlier, if you like the previous seasons of prison break, BUY THIS ONE. You will not be let down.

The Red Balloon
This has been a favorite classic since I first saw it in the 50's. Finally it is on a DVD which I sent to my daughter to share with my grandchildren. Of course, I included a package of large RED balloons.

One Of My New Favorites
This gloriously liberated movie is a tough one to describe, and if you've seen it, you know what I mean. And please do see it uncut. It's just ridiculous to do otherwise because you'll lose much more than a few nude scenes, you'll lose its fearless magic. As the fortieth anniversary of France's 1968 riots arrives, Bernardo Bertolucci's impressive but oft overlooked 2003 opus, The Dreamers, is ...

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (BLU-RAY) - Wow, this is clearly depressing
NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN was quite an experience to watch on my large screen HDTV and BLU-RAY DVD player. The movie itself was great and the video transfer outstanding. This was clearly a visual film in the Stanley Kubric tradition. As far as I was concerned the level of screen violence did not set any records, however, due to the way it was presented the effect this film had on me was ...

FANTASTIC !!!
A beautifully acted and recorded story that is superbly inspirational and very touching at the same time. One will never look at butterflies the same after viewing this fantastic DVD. A wonderful contribution to anyone's library and a story you will watch more than once.

Old English mate-shopping among the rich and famous
What can I say that has not already been said better by others. This rendition is faithful to the book and holds one's interest throughout. I enjoyed Ms. Knightly's version when I saw it but this one is superior. I've noticed a tendency lately to superimpose modern mores on these old stories--for instance kissing in public, where a couple appears to be fighting for sole possession of the ...

The definitive Persuasion! ... and there is life past Emma Thompson! ,,, Who knew????
I am a dedicated Janeite -- Jane is my favorite author, although I am not much of a "chick lit chick", Jane is comfort food. As I see her, she is the original DIY Riot Grrrl who would give Kathleen Hanna a real run for her Rebel Girl money. I've read the books more times than I can think of, cut a wide swath through the literary criticism, read the few remaining letters Cassandra didn't see fit ...

Perfection
This movie was well done. I loved the beautiful scenes of the English countryside, they made it feel as though you were there. The chemistry between all the actors was very strong and every scene just flowed so naturally. They really did a gorgeous job on this movie I don't think you will be disappointed. I do want to recommend you read the book first, it's always a good tribute to the author, as ...

An Exceptional James McAvoy!
The last memorable James McAvoy performance I recall is from The Last King Of Scotland, where he admirably held his own with Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, and turned in a poignant, accomplished delivery. While I wasn't really impressed with Atonement despite all its accolades, I am completely blown away by Becoming Jane, solely because McAvoy is absolutely amazing in this film. Watching it ...

A Movie for All Seasons
You'd be hard pressed to find a film so profound as "A Man for All Seasons"; it borders on Shakespearean in its tone. Yes, it shows only one side of Sir Thomas More, and we fleetingly glimpse More's intense revulsion toward Protestantism and its followers (he sent some of them to the stake for heresy). But the side that the movie portrays is accurate, as Sir Thomas deeply loved his family and ...

NO REGRETS
La Vie en Rose follows on the footsteps of other biopics of artists whose lives were tortured in order to express their inner souls through their art. Take for example Lust For Life, the biography of Vincent Van Goagh or Moulin Rouge, the story of Tolouse La Trec. Or how about Ray, the recent biopic of Ray Charles. Then there's the outstanding Lady Sings The Blues, the life of Billie Holliday. ...

THE BEST EVER, YET!
The best period drama movie/series I have seen. I will treasure this DVD. My day is not complete without watching it before I retire, kind of addictive. I recommend this movie to those who love drama and romance. I love Richard Armitage's portrayal (handsome employer), as well as Daniela Denby-Ashe's (beautiful heroine). Excellent ending, very inspirational movie.

A..E..I..O..U have to watch this movie.
If there was ever a film that illustrated how anyone's life can change dramatically in a matter of seconds, or how perseverance is possible even in the face of the most extreme limitations one could face, this is it. The main character is completely paralyzed aside from his left eye, for the majority of the film, yet still able to get his message across. "The Diving Bell and The Butterfly" is the ...

Best version yet!
I am a big fan of Jane Austen and love to read her books over and over again so I am always interested in seeing the movies that come out based on her books. Sense and Sensibility was not my favorite for a long time but after seeing this latest version on Masterpiece Theater on PBS and then buying the dvd, my opinion has changed. Before seeing this version, I could never figure out why Elinor ...

Wonderful Movie
I saw this on PBS' Masterpiece and enjoyed it so much I wanted to own it and add it to our Jane Austen DVD collection. If you enjoy the movies that have been done bringing Jane Austin's writing to the screen you will probably enjoy this as well.
