Excellent Laptop Stand
I use this to stack two laptops and it works great for that use. I would have to argue that this stand seems a little wobbly if I was to use it to hold a monitor. Hopefully this isn't intended for a big CRT monitor as it would shake all the time. An LCD screen might be acceptable but there is the potential for any vibrations to ripple through the stand. Definitely works - a must have
I purchased this from Amazon 4 years ago and here it is 4 years later and it still works perfectly. I had to write a review on such a great product. It is a definite inconvenience when any of your electronic pieces hit the road. Your television, cd player, receiver, computer, etc. These are all necessities and if any of them break down they must be replaced immediately regardless of budget.

It's Perfect
After much searching for a TV riser that would fit my 32" HDTV and accommodate my DVR box underneath, I finally found this one. It is perfect. It is the only riser I could find that was wide enough for the TV and tall enough to allow enough space above the DVR box so it doesn't get overheated. I would recommend it to anyone. I use it on my dresser so it is easier to watch TV in bed.

Bought the three pack, and need one more.
I used each slot to hold the CD's book as well as the CD itself, and it filled out the book nicely, without needing more inserts. If you are using this for CDs only [no book] then extra inserts can be used.
I love them... finally, no tower, no shelf, no cases lying around everywhere. A comprehensive collection, and it looks damn snazzy too.

This is a terrific (and relatively inexpensive) monitor stand, particularly if your desk space is limited; the design allows things to be slid under it. However, Amazon's photo is slightly misleading. The stand is not a silver color (or "pewter" as the item description says); it's a light gray-green.

Really a nice pad
What isn't mentioned in the product info is that the base is metal with a firm but softer material on top. It is heavy so it won't slide around your desk. This is really nice. It has a not slip base and should be easy to clean. It's larger than normal (about 10.5"x10")which is nice.
