Great amp for automation
I recently replaced an old TV that had a built in amp that I used to drive external speakers. The new TV is a flat screen that has RCA line out but cannot directly drive speakers. I could hook the TV to a component audio system, but my goal was simplicity and automation. Basically I want to just turn on the TV and listen to the TV using my existing Bose speakers. I haven't had this long enough to give a thorough review...I've yet to have time to really play with it. The sound quality is the best compared to others I've heard in same ballpark price. The features can't be beat. I wanted to note that the price just dropped by $50 recently so if you've done your research and are debating because of price I'd say go for it. High end at a reasonable price
I ran the " Cherry" through 2 different speaker systems using jazz, piano, classical, new age, techno and Rock. It performed magnificently. The highs were crisp and the lows firm and deep. At low volumes and high the "Cherry" performed well. Instument placement and depth of field are improved. Female vocals are warm. I am very impressed and highly recommend.
