Great value/Glad I chose over clock radio
I use this radio primarily for its iPod capability. Sound is good. By using iPod equalizer--mostly on "loudness"--sound is improved. As other reviewers note, clock is unreadable from any distance or even straight on, BUT alarm on iPod functions well, as does countdown timer in place of "sleep." Who needs a heavy clock radio when you can have a light, cheap box about the size of a small shoebox?

I bought this radio to use at work (I'm in construction) I picked this unit because the radio surrounds the ipod giving it protection from dirt and debris typically expected on a construction site.

I received my item about two hours ago and have been listening to it since! It adapts to all four of our iPods and works with both burned and bought CD's. The sound is great and loud! Good Product ... according to price ...
I must admit this was a blind shopping -just saw product features and buy it - as soon as I get my player, I was able to use without any problem or complain and i must say the sound is great - no complains at all like most people say - CD player, Radio and iPod Dock works fine, no noise at all. Great Buy!
I purchased this boombox to take with me on my vacation to Jamaica. It has great sound and charges your iPod as well. As one other reviewer mentioned, the radio is not so great, but I didn't purchase it to use as a radio, so that feature is not important to me.

You get what you pay for
I have 10 and 8 year old daughters and I bought them one each. The dock looks good and sounds okay. It is ideal for my kids. The only slight disappointment is that the clock is not easy to see, especially at night. I didn't buy it for the clock so it not the end of the world.
