Able to play Pal DVDS without putting in codes !
I think everyone should have a Multi-Region DVD Player, Because some movies that aren't avaialble here in the USA but are in Great Britain. When I got mine I didn't have to put in any codes for it to play different regions, I just put in my Pal copy of "I, Monster" starring Christopher Lee and it played as if it was region 1, I was thrilled

Excellent product
I bought this DVD recorder because I wanted a Panasonic to match my Panasonic LCD and take profit of the Viera link. Have not tested yet the recorder but as far as reproduction is concerned, with the HDMI cable, image is excellent, easy to use, you can manage both, TV and DVD with the same remote control. I like it very much!

Amazing product! First, I couldn't believe it was real given the price, then when I got it home it was sooooooooooooo easy to connect! I was watching my DVDs within a couple of minutes of opening the box! It's a simple remote, but has all you need to play your DVDs.

Great DVD player, Even better Price!
The only thing that could make this DVD player better would be for it to be able to come in Blue-Ray compatible.
Other than that minute detail, this DVD player is the best thing for me, since I constantly engage in watching foreign films, where my XBOX 360 and my other portable DVD player could not play DVD from Areas 3, 4 and various others.

great choice!
This DVD player is a great option for those with DVDs from multiple regions. It was very easy to change the region to 0 (I followed instructions that someone listed in the reviews). The only problem I have is that it doesn't flag your DVD when you stop the player so you have to fast forward or start all over when you turn it back on. Other than that, it has great picture and sound quality.
