My doctor told me this thing was a joke and to not believe it. My daughter did not let us put it in her ear at all and when we finally did get it in, it caused wax to be pushed further into her ear. DO not waste your money. Our daughter finally started playing with it on her own while we changed her, but still would not let us use it on her.

Other than instructions that make it sound very difficult to use, this is a great product. It is NOT difficult to use. Just turn it on and stick it in your ear, wait for a beep and press the button. Presto! Instant temperature reading. I tested it along side my doctor's thermometer and it was dead on accurate. It was slightly expensive, but worth it for the accuracy and ease of use.

What a life saver!!!
This is great we just bought it tonight after dealing with a sick child who fought us everytime we wanted to take her temperature with an ear one. This has been a life saver, it is VERY accurate and she doesn't mind it one bit. We also love that is uses a simple 9v battery instead of little expensive batteries.
