The duracell 15 minute charger runs at about [...] bucks, but it works great! Seriously. It's better than the energizer charger and its energizer batteries.
I had gotten an energizer charger last year. Within months the charger went bad and I was recharging the AA energizer batteries on a generic charger. They take an hour to charge and if I don't use them they discharge on their own.

The first time I charged the batteries one of them came up low - about 1600mAh - after leaving it on the "Refresh" (charge/discharge) cycle on my La Crosse charger it came back to 2000mAh eventually. This would go unnoticed on a basic charger that does not show mAh(which I suspect is what most people have)...
