If you bought this book and paid for the pound you would get your money's worth! An amazing about of work on folklore in it's most elemental form. Finally a serious work that is not full of the "play stuff". This book is valuable for anyone wanting to learn, advance their level of their crafting or even get to the lore and roots of what they are doing.

Amazing work especially great for paranormal writers.

Magic Explained and Spells Galore!!

I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in magic! From the beginner to the initiate, this book has everything you need... from an historic view of where magic comes from, what it is and how to access it, to a panoplie of spells that will suit anyone.

This book is very interesting and has some of the best explained and working spells i have ever seen! I have tried, and they WORK!!! no kidding! Of course, you do have to believe in magic for them to work... but just a sneak peek: i won money at the casino... i've gotten a better job... found love... healed myself physically... all this thanks to the spells in this book!

Annnnnd! if you remove the soft cover from the book, it becomes a true grimoire if i've ever seen one!!! (book of spells, like the ones you see old wizards gazing at over open candle light in posters and drawings)

This book is a treat in many ways. It is a recipe book for those interested in the world of magic and also a study of magical beliefs of many cultures. There is so much to look at in this book that everytime I open it I find something new and fascinating. Sit by a fire with an herbal tea and enjoy this well researched work!

Very easy to use and understand and with several alternatives for the same spell. Will enjoy using this encyclopedia constantly.

Magnificent!

I've just recieve my copy of this amazing book (just two weeks to Mexico in a simple shipping, woah!), and I can't be more excited and satisfied. Judika really do her homework, and it's a MUST HAVE if you're interested over the magic sciencie and the ocultist tradition.

It has everything. Yes, everything. Even spells I've learn from witches in my country, I found them in this book. I truly was amazed and shocked: "Why this spell is in here?!" It's pretty complete. An excellen investment.
