King is my favorite author and this book is great, but...

This book is too damn long! It has great stories written by the infamous Stephen King, but it's just too long. This will take you a long time to read. Heck, I'm not even finished yet.

Though its no Night Shift or Skeleton Crew still great.

I liked Nightmares and Dreamscapes though there are a few clunkers, its definitely a must have for King Completists. "Suffer the Little Children" has to be my favorite King short story ever. This Bradburyish tale is so cool. I also loved "Dolon's Cadillac" its kind of like "Bag of Bones". "The End of the Whole Mess" was really clever and original. The "Ten O'Clock People" is also a highlight. I didn't like every tale but there are enough great ones to justify adding this to your library.

Good stories

I got this, for Christmas afew years ago I liked some stories there scary too. "Popsy", "Sorry Right Number", "The Ten'O'Clock People" and other stories there good.

Nice, not more not less

In my opinion, this is the worst King-book I've ever read, although I reviewed it with 4 stars. I admit that this book proves that King is able to write other kinds of stories. But he should make what the most want him to make: write books, in which we require good nerves!

Short stories worthy of a King

Though this collection may not be quite as consistent as "Night Shift" or "Skeleton Crew," there are still plenty of chills to keep you up at night. Stories like "The Night Flier," "Chattery Teeth," "Dolan's Cadilac," "The Ten O'Clock People," and "Rainy Season" are among the best and scariest that he's written. King works best in the short story format that presents his inexhaustable supply of ideas at their sharpest and most visceral. This collection is no exception.
