I got this book for Christmas and I read it every night. I am thirteen and everytime I read a prayer in it it makes me cry because it's just like I feel. The introduction by Celia Straus and Julia Straus are great. Every girl should read this book if she has problems and no one to talk to about them. I have told all my friends about the book and they have asked their moms to buy it for them. Thank you, Celia Straus for writing all these prayers for Julia. It helps me every day of my life.

All I can say is that this book of prayers is absolutely the best book I have ever bought for my daughter. It is all about the problems she is having in Junior High School that I couldn't begin to talk to her about. She reads these prayers every night. And most important of all, she and I talk about them and it leads to discussion about how I felt when I was her age. Basically it has brought us back together as mother and daughter. Celia Straus has created a miracle. I can't recommend this book enough to mothers and daughters. It is absolutely fantastic. My daughter also visited the web site and wrote out a problem. She got a prayer back from Ms. Straus.

This book is beautifully written.Each prayer is a jewel.

The prayers in this book are written as if the girl was praying them. I've never read anything like them. They are for the problems girls have every day. Someone gave me this book as a gift as I have four daughters and every one of them reads it. Some days I read them myself since they are a great source of comfort. I recommend this book to every mother to give to her daughter.

These prayers work because they are about real problems.

My mother bought me this book for Christmas and I love it. Celia Straus wrote these prayers for her daughter and I can relate to what they say and how they describe feelings. I am taking the book back to college with me because when I'm feeling down or depressed or even just stressed out, I know there will be a prayer to help me. There are all sorts of categories of prayers like peer pressure and body image and feeling alone and being afraid. I don't think I will ever grow out of this book. It is for every girl or woman no matter how young or old.
