The Quickie James Patterson

This is the best book that James Patterson has ever written. I literally couldn't put it down until it was done. What an excellent read, kept me on the edge of my seat right until the end. My husband even read it and he only reads westerns!!

Again...

Again, another Patterson book that will knock your socks off AND be a quick read (no pun intended). I love Patterson, and this is one of his best books yet. I just wish I could keep up with the amount of books he writes every year, but so far I've read them all so I can't wait for MORE!!!

The Quickie - audio book

From the beginning of the first CD, I found myself wanting to just drive around so I could continue to listen (too noisy at home). Mary Stuart Masterson did an excellent job with believable accents and voices, male and female. The plot twists were NOT predictable. Sure, anyone who watches one of the CSI shows wonders "why this" or "why not that" as far as the cover-ups, but the point of fiction is to entertain and remove you from the real world while maintaining your interest. This story certainly does that, and does it well. You love and hate the characters and their flaws but also identify with the emotional baggage they carry.
Fast paced, suspenseful and thoroughly enjoyable.
