Very useful!

I absolutely love this thing. I can see the whole month in once glance for everyone in the family. I added magnets to the back and hung it on the side of my fridge, so everyone can see what is due the next day, week, etc. The phone list is awesome too, especially when a sitter comes. My only problem.... we'll probably have another kid and that will put us over the number of available spots. Perhaps an option for more columns?? I love it, love it.

Couldn't Get Along Without It!!

This is my eighth year buying this calendar and I don't know what I'd do without it!! There's plenty of room to write appointments for each family member, no more trying to squeeze it all in, and I have loved Sandra Boynton's quirky cartoons since before I even had kids. My only quibble is that the shiny cardstock does not take pencil very well, and I never write anything on a calendar in ink. I solved this problem last Christmas when my husband bought me a Brother P-touch label maker--now I just print a little label for each appointment, which can be removed easily if there's a change. (It isn't as time consuming as you might think--it works especially well for repeating appointments like sports practices and monthly meetings.) If they ever stop making this calendar, I will be in BIG trouble!!

Good organizer

I like the way this calendar is organized. If you have more then two kids it may not work as well, but for us it is great. I can tell where everyone in my family should be on any given day.

great family calendar

My family of 8 (including our babysitter) uses this calendar every year. We're on our 8th or 9th year of using this format and it's working great. I can see -- well, actually anyone can see -- at a glance what's going on. We use the calendar at our weekly family planning meetings to be sure everyone knows what activities they are in and "who is going to be where when, but not necessarily why."
The pictures are cute, too, and my children like to look through the whole calendar to see what clever things Ms. Boynton has done this year. We love the pigs on the front cover this year!

A must for all busy families

Such a simple idea and invaluable. I didn't know how much I needed this until I bought it. My husband travels so much, I work and we have 2 kids and 2 dogs... we all have busy schedules... NOW we know what everyone one is doing..
