Life Changing Story

Multiple friends recommended this book, sharing that tears were almost a guarantee. The tears finally came towards the end, but in waiting for them to arrive, it was a wonderfully written, personal and informative story with insights about self, faith, homelessness and the things we don't understand about others who have a story very different from our own. So many lessons in love, faith, hope and life. I felt like I knew Ron Hall and Denver Moore when I was finished with the book. And even more so, I felt a stronger draw to the Creator who made each one of us and gifted us in ways that our lives would touch others and lead us to Him. I'm grateful to Ron and Denver for their courage in writing this book.

Amazing book

This book is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I have already give ten copies away to family and friends.

The best book I've read in a long time....

My copy has already been read by 4 people so I've ordered another copy to start the loop with other friends and family members. I'll never look at homeless people in the same light as before.

Same Kind of Different As Me

This is a heartwarming tale of two very different people who forge a relationship through the help of a kindly woman. There aren't many books that have stayed with me, but this one has. The true story of each man is inspiring and insightful. At times, in the beginning of the book, the story is a little difficult to dive into, but the journey is worth it.

It's a book that should be shared with others. Don't let it sit on your shelf after you read it -- pass it along.
