Whew! What a shocking ending!

What a great suspense. No words can describe this book...awesome, clever... I was only surfing the net for a book about Silicon Valley when I came across Romina Wilcox's website. She had pictures of real places where the story had supposedly taken places. (I will be driving to Davenport this weekend to see it for myself!). Not only that the plot weaves you through the famous landsmarks in California, the plot unfolds in a spell-binding way that kept me guessing who the evil hacker, CyberGod. Although the book is about cybercrime, there is NO boring technical mumbo jumbo in it, but a great suspense with a twist of love-story. It has a very complicated plot, yet easy to follow. And the most shocking? The ENDING! I've never ever suspected that! The author kept it until the end. And for the sake of keeping that suspense, pay attention to details. Cold Eyes has a deeper meaning!

A movie for Salma Hayek!!!

I surfed the author's site prior to buying the book and I came across the quiz...If a movie is to be made about Cold Eyes, which actress would the author pick for Joanne Gravitz. Well, this is a no brainer. Joanne is hispanic with shoulder length hair and a fabulous curl in the end. I think the author had Salma Hayek in mind all along. Even as I read the story, I was picturing the foxy Salma in my mind. Cold Eyes is a a truly entertaining story with plenty of intrigue and plot twists. There is also a love story unfolding in paralell which could pass for a romantic thriller. On the other hand I was surprised to find out about the REVELATION in the end. Who would think that by simply looking at the color of the villain's eyes would reveal his true motive. This is one clever plot!!
