Gideon....the sequel

I waited on the sequel and I got it. However, I must say I am a little disappointed. The second installment of this story left me in limbo. I guess I was expecting more. Being that Dickey flipped the script on this entire story may have been it. Great Author, good read. Just could have been more.

EJD, YOU'RE AN INCREDIBLE WRITER

All I can say is wow! Just finished reading Waking with Enemies and I thoroughly enjoyed both books. The story flowed beautifully and I felt as if I were right there in London. I love the way you skillfully and methodically describe your settings; made me want to fly to London and check out the tubes and hotels!!! And the sex scenes; either you have a very vivid imagination or you're something else!!! (LOL) Being your homegirl from Memphis TN, I've always been a loyal fan and you didn't disappoint. Can't wait for your next book!!!

EXCELLENT!

I don't know what the other reviewers who didn't like this book is talking about. This book along with the other one(Sleeping with Strangers) was EXCELLENT!!! E.D. has done it again. Dickey is one of my favorite writers all of his books are page turners. I have all of his books and I love them all. E.D. keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to the next book.

Revelation

This book, as with most EJD books, was incredible! After reading Sleeping with Strangers, I was a little afraid that he was going to abandon what he does best in my eyes (which is relationships, drama, etc.), and focus solely on this crime story. However the sequel Waking with Enemies calmed all fears I had. This was a fantastic read that I couldn't put down. The further revelation of who Mrs. Jones is (don't read too quickly or you'll miss it) was genius to me! If you like EJD you're sure NOT to be disappointed.

My favorite author

Eric Jerome Dickey is one of my favorite author and the only one right now that I actually buy his books instead of borrowing from the library. I really enjoy this book. The sex scenes were a little too long for me, I was really anxious to get to the storyline. I never could figure out what color the main character was suppose to be. Maybe that was the point. I really enjoy the book.
