A Wonderful Book! A Necessity for Anyone Taking the CBEST!

Thank You Rick Sliter for making my dream of becoming a teacher a reality. This book was almost an exact replica of the actual CBEST. The questions reflected both the style and difficulty of those on the actual test. I also appreciated Mr. Sliter's witty approach to the CBEST. I never thought that studying could be so much fun! Do not take the CBEST without studying this book first.

Wow! What a difference!

I spent alot of time banging my head upon the other CBEST books on the market before a friend passed the Princeton Review's book to me. WOW! I don't know where they got this guy who wrote the book, but he is great! I've never seen an educational book that was so much fun! I actually read parts of it out loud to friends not even taking the CBEST! And does it work? You bet. There's no way I could have gotten this high of a score without Cracking the CBEST!

Possibly the best review book ever written.

Unlike the standard review book on the market, Mr. Sliter's book has two qualities that single it out as unique. The first is a witty, fun-to-read style that will make you forget that you are studying for a test! The second is an obvious insight into the mind of the test-taker that other authors fail to demonstrate. When reading his book, you feel that Mr. Sliter understands what you are going through and is there to make sure that you realize your dreams. Thanks to Cracking the Best, I certainly did!

This book was a lifesaver.

I bought this book without knowing anything about the CBEST, and it was very helpful in my studying. It was easy to read and seemed to be written with the average student in mind. The first time I took the test, I mutated, but the second time I passed the test, thanks to The Princeton Review and Mr. Sliter. Not bad for someone who has only been speaking English for a year!

This book puts all previous CBEST books to shame.

Cracking the CBEST is an amazing tool for anyone looking to gain admittance into a Teaching Credential Program. I used the book and got an amazing csore on the test, which helped me gain entrance to my top choice TEP program. I've looked at other CBEST books, and they are all terrible. I was so happy to see this book come out, just in time for me to take the CBEST. Overall, it is very well written, and the sample questions gave me a good idea what to expect on the test.
