This reads similarly to Kinsella's Shopaholic books - just with a new character. If you loved the Shopaholic series, this book is for you.

Worth reading, hilarious and clever, but the ending is a disappointment

It's worth reading -- even minor characters are vivid and much of the book is hilarious -- but the ending is disappointing -- the word sexist comes to mind (or it would if a man had written this book). But up until the end the book is first rate -- terrific satire -- her best so far. However, for books that are funny AND well written, I'd reccommend "Pug Hill", "The Nanny Diaries", and "Straight Man" before this book.

One of the Best Books I've Read!

I'm not typically a book reader, and so to say that I read this book in two days is phenominal!!

This is a funny, witty, light hearted book and was recommended to me by 3 of my friends before I saw it in the local department store book aisle. If you like books written by authors such as Elizabeth Young and Helen Fielding, read this book, as it may be as good if not better than their writings!!

So charming!

Even my mother, who ordinarily requires non-stop action and intrigue, enjoyed this novel. Although I love all the Becky Bloomwood (Shopaholic) books and found Emma Corrigan (Can You Keep a Secret?) very sweet. I believe this to be Kinsella's best yet!

Kinsella's writing style is so entertaining, there really are no low points. This book is like cotton candy--it's just so sweet and engrossing, fluffy and just ...good! Don't look for much realism here but instead find a GREAT pick-me-up for any lingering post-holiday blues.

Rocks

This book is great! There are some parts in the book that had me crying I was laughing so hard! My dog even came over to see what was wrong with me! :) So I definately recommend this book.
