Good easy read!

I thought this book was a very easy read, so its perfect after having a long day.
The story is good and funny. I never thought about something like this so it does make you think in terms of how would I feel if I would forget the past 3 years of my life. I would have been as shocked as Lexi was. Iam same age so I can truely feel what she was going through.
The only thing i didnt like too much is that the ending was obvios. You knwo what would happen so it no suprising end. It was a bit boring. Other than that the book was good.

Lots of fun!

I love Kinsella's "Shopaholic" books, but her stand-alone novels have been less than stellar. "Remember Me?," however, is a wonderful exception. Kinsella takes what could easily have been a hackneyed plot line and works it into a story that fresh and rings true (even for those of us who have thankfully never had amnesia). It's fluff, sure, but it's not all sunshine; Lexi, the protagonist and narrator, faces a host of difficult issues with family, friends, and career. Kinsella's gift is in making you root for the heroine, regardless of her faults. My only criticism of "Remember Me?" is the treacly and much-too-neat final chapter. Otherwise, I loved this one and tore through it.

Can't put down great read

This book was fantastic. It was not predictable and a lot of fun to read! I was sad when it was over.

Entertaining Fluff

While the story line is a lot like "13 Going On 30" with amnesia it is a very workable idea and Sophie Kinsella does a nice job with it. I do think the characters could have been a little better developed which would have made the book more interesting.
A couple of reviewers did not like the more "explicit" mentions of sex and the fact that the character had an affair but I think it fits in just fine. The "sex scenes" were actually quite funny.
Remember Me? is a great, fast read and a perfect summer beach book. I have read all of Sophie Kinsella's books and will read anything else she writes.

Good, not great

I always look forward to a good Sophie Kinsella book, though I have to admit a strong preference for the Shopaholic series. The standalones have all been good, this one included, but I just don't enjoy the narrators as much as I do Becky.

With all of that said, I did find this book to be another very amusing offering. The gimmick of the loss of memory was a good trick for launching the story and Sophie Kinsella is so good at making life seem amusing.

I really did enjoy this book a lot, but it wasn't quite up to the level of the Shopaholic books. Still, it is very much worth the read, especially if you're a fan. By the way, has anyone else read any of the Madeleine Wickham books? I just found out that she IS Sophie Kinsella!
