loved it

A nice commentary on the twisted-yuppy-Ikea loving culture of today. Where people are so starved for attention that they attend these groups in hopes of filling a need for recognition.

same great Chuck

I love Chuck Palahniuk. I think he is brilliant, smart, witty, and, best of all, he speaks the scary truths about humanity that most people would rather bury. His writing style is truely unique and the phrases or words that he repeats are never annoying - he emphasizes them perfectly and is sure to bring up reoccuring themes throughout all of his books. He'll throw a line in from earlier in the novel, a powerful line. And it will bring the book full circle all over again.

I did like Survivor and Diary better than Fight Club, but it was still an awesome book. Palahniuk is so great, I promise myself to reread every one of his novels before I die.

Intense darkness

Chuck Palahniuk explores every single dark angle in his narrator's psyche! the book is darkly smart and Palahnuik sets up all the profound diversities to grab the readers' attention. It is worth reading, and if you've watched the film do not hesitate to read this book.

Great Book

The author's added notes in the back of the book about how "Fight Club" has changed his life were well worth the price of this particular edition.
