One of the best Eric J Dickey's books!

Waking with Enemies

This book is fascinating, I cannot stop reading it and at the same time I want to slow down because I'm afraid it will end too soon! I generally adore Dickey's books but in these series (Sleeping with strangers and walking with enemies) he just outdid himself. Love it love it love it.

A Must Read!!

This by far is Eric Jerome Dickey's best work!! Sleeping with Strangers & Waking with Enemies is a work of art (literay art), the stories will keep you in suspense from start to finish. Gideon is the best bad good guy, you can't help but to love him. I insist that every take a chance and read these books.

Mmm My, My, My....

I really loved this book. I had to only give it 4 stars because of the cheesy ending, but hey, what can I say...I'm a sucker for happy endings. Its just not what I expected from Eric Jerome Dickey. His endings are usually bitter-sweet. But this was definitely a good read. Again, the settings were beautiflly and artistically imaginable. The plot was great and kept you in enough suspense to really want to keep reading. But anyway, hats off to EJD. Just make sure you read Sleeping with Strangers before diving into Waking with Enemies!

Bittersweet Read

After waiting four months to get my hands on this book and reading it within 3 days, the best I can describe it is "Bittersweet". Reason being, I loved what Dickey did with Gideon's character in the sense of allowing us to see the complexities of the man. But I hated that the novel was highly sexed, even for Dickey. It was just too much after a while.

Yet, he is still the king of fiction for me and I love how he connected Waking With Enemies to Chasing Destiny. It was a nice touch and true to his form of storytelling.
