An excellent example of a richly detailed book!

I have to say that i am impressed with this book. Although the ending left me craving more i cant say that that is a bad thing. I have read the first two books published and have yet to read the third. When I began this book I didnt fully understand the vast array of the Di'ni culture and society, but as I read i discovered a vast world filled with secrets and such. I guess the feel of being a part of this underground world made me think that I was discovering a new land. I even read this book more than once and enjoyed it more then than the first time. If you are a sci-fi or adventure fan, or even if you are not, then i would highly suggest thhis book to you and your friends.

Very interesting!!!

This book is very interesting because it describes how the D'ni people live. About 80% of the book takes place in D'ni. There are three books in this series, but it does not really matter what order you read them in. I suggest you read them in 2-1-3 order because that is the order that they take place in. You also would understand why people act as they do better. Just to let you know how the time passes between the books I'll give an example: In The Book of Ti'ana (the 2nd book) Gehn is just born. In the book of Atrus (the 1st book) Gehn starts out being 19. And in The Book Of D'ni (the 3rd book) Gehn is dead.

You Want Imagination? So Do I....

You'll get all the imagination you can get in this book. This books has more than one theme though. It has love, horror, action, evil, imagination, fantasy, fiction, and many more. Whatever taste you have, you'll enjoy this book. If you want to see the fairies dancing in the moonlight, or the Peruvian gods in all of their might, or the fragile thread that weaves all sight, read this book. The ending can never truly be written.

One line just won't be enough...

This was possibly one of my favorite books. It starts off fairly slow, but it builds to a poignant end. I remember crying at the end, I was so drawn into the vividly depicted world of the D'Ni. I don't know what else I can say, my words will probably drop far short of my feelings. This truly is a good read.

Best of the three!

This was absolutely terrific! I read the trilogy and this is the one that has completely captivated me. Get through the first 50 pages of rock talk and boring stuff, and you will find yourself one with the characters. THis is one of the few books that gave me a desolate feeling upon completion. It had become my friend, and suddenly, I've finished reading it. NO more about Aitrus and Anna. YOU WILL LOVE THIS!
