Oh, the Life you'll lead..

if you go at it with that attitude that Dr. Seuss embodies in this gem of a book. I'm sure everyone knows how this book is a great graduation gift for any age or any school level. A wonderful gift for anyone embarking on a new adventure. Read it, it will take you back to your days as a kid reading all the great Dr. Seuss books but will speak to the adult in you also who might be facing a little trepediation at the road they are about to embark on. Go forth, it is a grand world.

I was searching for a book to give as a graduation present for my daughter---a motivational type of book. After searching the large list of very serious books, full of opinions that I did not feel that they were what I was looking for, I stumbled onto this classic. I remember the story well and found it to be just what I was looking for. Serious enough for my purposes with a Dr. Seuss flair of humor. My daughter's major is psychology with a journalism minor and this was PERFECT! I had intimate family members give a personal statement or bit of advise to the graduate, but did not give it to her upon graduation from high school. Instead, (and this is the best part) I am giving it to her when I leave her at college. I will look in the rear view mirror and see her standing there with the Dr. Seuss classic in her hands. I firmly believe she will refer to it many times her first term away from home. Full of loving thoughts of past and future possibilities. Get this one, you'll not go wrong!!!
