A Must-Read for the Broken Heart

This book is truly helpful. The author shares his own pitiful break up experience and how he eventually managed to get through it. It gives you the one thing you are most in need of when going through a break up -- hope that you will one day get through it, as well as a reminder that truly you did deserve better than what you had. There are good tips in here about not getting back together with ex's and why, and I've read and re-read it several times. It's a great book and my thanks to Mr. Behrendt for his humorous, candid, and helpful insight.

some good advice

It's Called A Breakup Because It's Broken is quite beneficial to those who are/have been recovering from being dumped. Very funny with practical tips on how to take back your life. I personally don't feel that everything applies to everyone (i.e. I didn't gorge myself with food or partake in risky behavior). It's nice to see stories similar to your own. When reading them you think "Well, that's ridiculous..." and then it hits you, "Oh wait, I did that!"
It takes repeated exposure to practical advice before it finally sinks in to stop torturing yourself.
Anywho, definitely worth reading, even if only for a good laugh.

This book is an absolute MUST HAVE for anyone going through a break-up who is broken hearted (man or woman). I will buy this book for my chidren when that day comes. My mother and I went shopping the day after I'd broken up with my ex, and she stumbled upon this book. Truly, it was Divine Intervention. I devoured the book and in just over 24 hours I was completely over my ex, and couldn't believe that I had ever compromised so much as to date him in the first place!!! This book really put into perspective the reality of the relationship with my ex and made me see I deserve someone so much better than he ever was. My eyes were opened to how imperfect our relationship was, and how difficult it would have been had I stayed and married him like we'd discussed.

This book is hilarious, which helps distract your from what you are feeling. At the same time, the advice given in it gives you great ideas and hope. Both Greg and Amiira give straight forward answers to the questions people who have broken up have that they might be too afraid to verbalize. I highly suggest this book to both men and women who have recently gone through a break up.

Get This Book

This book is not only totally full of real life stories and thoughtful advice, but it is totally hilarious!!!! You must have this book if you just had a breakup. You should get the book even if you haven't had a breakup yet....just in case....I bought it for myself and then bought a copy for everyone I know who is single! Can't wait for the next book this duo writes!
