surprise for me

let me start off by saying that I did enjoy this book and it took me for a spin. I have to admit I did not like this book from the beginning and the middle and I didn't want to not finish the book and lets say I am glad that I did't because towards the end of the book it really got good and sends a message that cheating can be a turn out to be a really bad things and gives you a lesson about thinking twice before your emotions take over. At first I thought the book was to blah blah and descriptive, but don't give up on this book ,you won't be disappointed.

Excuse to Step Out

I am a new fan of EJD and I found this book to be absolutely mesmerizing. EJD brings the basic cheating storyline of finding out your husband has been having an affair for the last eight months right before our faces in black and white. You begin to feel for the unnamed narrator "Freckles." You begin to actually feel something for Charles her cheating husband. However, EJD cranks up the storyline and adds that sexy, funky Lenny Kravitz/Eric Benet kinda brotha to the mix and it's on! As in all of his other writings EJD has really put this all together to once again, keep us hanging onto his every written word!

BEST BY HIM YET

'THE OTHER WOMAN' IS BY FAR EJD BEST. HE HAS MATURED WITH HIS WRITING TREMENDOUSLY. VERY VERY GOOD BOOK. BEING A FAN OF HIS ALREADY, THIS BOOK HAS ADDED 2 NOTCHES ON MY LADDER FOR HIM. EVEN THE EDITIING WAS GREAT. A MUST READ!!!

good read

this book really surprised me. it starts off a bit too detailed and kinda does that a few times thoughout the book. T.M.I. :) but then the story heats up and it gets good. i anticipated what would happen between the lovers triangle and was so shocked at the ending that i actually cried. i think the female, who by the way is unnamed, should have made a different dicision in the ending and felt it could have ended a little better. but overall a great story.

This book is a page turner, an all-nighter...you'll not want to put it down and when the ride is over you'll just want to get in line and start again!
