Tolkien meets Dickens

This is a terrific series! The characters are as colorful and memorable as Dickens at his best. These characters are thrown into a richly drawn world with an extremely intricate plot and the epic struggle of good versus evil found in Tolkien. This provides for highly addictive and enjoyable entertainment.

What would life be like in a world of magic. Robert Jordan gives us the experience in this series. It is the deepest and most thorough series I have ever read. I keep re-reading the books and picking more and moer details about this saga

An absolute 'must read' for lovers of Sci-fi/Fantasy!!

Characters and plots abound in this fantastic saga! I am amazed that Mr. Jordan is able to keep all of this together, and do it so remarkably well! The Wheel of Time will definitely join Tolkien's Rings as a classic. If you like being 'caught-up' in the lives of characters; experiencing the twists & turns of plot; and generally enjoying excellent writing, this is the series for you! I look forward to each new addition, and actually look forward to rereading the entire series when a new book comes out! Great reading!!!!

Losing Track of Plots/ Or it is going to be a 20-book series

I have read the entire set so far and find it addictive and wonderful. Unfortunately, Jordan has setup some plotline but have not exploit it (eg Daughter of Nine Moons) up to now. At the rate he is going, it may end up a 20 book series. I do hope he can write them faster, I don't want it to become another Foundation Series.
