Invitation Worth Accepting

"Dinner With a Perfect Stranger" presents the Gospel to an admitted skeptic and cynic, Nick Cominsky in a way which is truly a wondrous invitation to new life, new hope and a fresh peace. Nick is shocked when he receives an invitation to have dinner at a posh Italian restaurant with none other than Jesus Christ. Suspecting a prank perpetrated by either a co-worker or a ploy by a church(which he does not trust), Nick goes to find a Jesus who will address his doubts, sarcasm, fears, and reservations and will through the course of the meal offer His Love as the antidote to all Nick's confusion. The chapters are cleverly divided according to the order in a meal, (the invitation, appetizer, etc leading up to the final bill)in which Nick can alter his destiny by making a pivotal spiritual choice. I would recommend this book either to a seeker investigating the claims of Jesus or a Christian looking for a simpler way to express faith. This book will have the reader rooting for Nick as bit by bit he begins to unravel the ultimate difference between the futility of trying to please God by human efforts and accepting the ultimate sacrifice of a loving Saviour

A Wonderful Experience

A quick, easy read. Couldn't put book down and have reread at least 5 times learning something new on each reading.

Love this book

My son told me about this book. He purchased one for every co-worker. I also have purchased several for gifts. It is a quick read and an excellent book to pass on to "just the right person" that may have come to mind while reading it.

Just what I needed

I too grew up going to Sunday School, learning about the Bible. And even now, (I'll be 50 soon), you come across a book that "opens" your eyes.

I needed this book to remind me just how much God loves me and wants to be in my life. I needed this book to remind me that Jesus paid the price for my sins that no amount of good works, going to church, helping the poor could do.

This book took me a few hours (probably less than that) to read from start to finish. I couldn't put it down. It renewed my spirit, strengthened my faith which has been faultering for so long.

It's not about "religion" or "doing good deeds" it's about accepting the "gift" that only God can offer. Thank you to the author, my he continue to be blessed.

Accept the Invitation

This book is creative and bold. It shows the truth of Jesus Christ and graciously dispels the myths behind other belief systems. My suggestion is you read this book and share it with as many people as you can!
