I'm nearly positive that Shaunti wrote the majority of this book (or at least subtly pressed her husband to write what he did) and just evoked her husband's name to give it credibility to guys. Most of the theories are barrowed from her thinking, and that's what gives it such a feminine style. Some of the things they say that women think are ridiculous! But they try to cover their butts by saying that this is only directed towards the majority population, so there are those who "fall between the cracks." (Crack equaling the Grand Canyon, I guess.)

There may be some true points, but mostly things everyone already knows, such as girls liking to be pursued, but some of the stuff is just plain stupid.

If I bring up an issue to my husband, I want a freakin' solution. I want real and objective input, not some washed up psychology baloney like, "Oh, it's so sweet when he sits there and says little this's or that's and just affirms me in my emotional giftings." More like emotional un-temperance.

Yes, the Bible tells husbands to love their wives, but that does not mean encouraging bad habits. Yacking is a bad habit, believe it or not, and the Bible tells women that we are to be emotionally sober and even "quiet." It's like they're trying to tell men to basically promote gossiping, (which truly is at least 50% of what most women waste their breath and time on [their husband's time too,]) and once they've done that she'll be ready to jump all over him. Give me a break. What really turns a girl on is a man acting with honor, courage, and commitment, but too often the women are busy stealing the pants that the guys aren't even given a chance to show their character qualities. It makes me sick that so many men buy into this new age WUSSIFICATION. I love that my husband is a macho warrior type. (Semper Fi) I can't stand men (who are really only being manipulated by naive women) advising husbands that all they need to do is find and get comfortable with their feminine side. Hello!! Newsflash! My husband found his feminine side when he found me. Enough said.

I've read this book and I think it is a good read. For so long I have been soo confused at certain things women do and this book clears up soo many things.

Okay seriously, this book is great! The insight to womens thoughts are extremely helpful to a mans understanding of female loved ones. All of the book, just like "For Women Only" is based in statistical data from the autors survey of many women.

Nice Easy Read

This was a great book! Both my husband and I read the book. It really helped him understand things about women that we can't really explain or don't realize exsist. For example, the part on women and thier windows. He had no idea we can't just turn something "off" or put it out of our mind forever.

This was a very nice easy read for those of you who don't like to read relationship or self help books. I would recommend it to everyone.
