Love and Respect book

Good book for married couples or individuals wanting to understand and gain insight in how the opposite sex feels and is made up. Would highly recommend this book.

Eh .. okay.

Halfway though this book, I lost interest because I got bored with hearing the same message over and over again and gave up on it. It seemed repetitive and redundant to me. Perhaps it gets better later on; I may go back and try to finish it, but I found "How To Save Your Marriage Before It Starts" by the Parrott's MUCH BETTER and it included the common theme of Love & Respect without beating me over the head.

Great Book!

I learned more about my husband's needs in this book then I have in the 8 years I have been married. I recomend this to every woman I know. There was one chapter I skiped because it just rubbed me the wrong way ( Chapter on rewards I think), but every other thing in this book was extremely helpful and it has made me a better wife and I am so grateful for having been blessed by this book! I wish every woman would read this it is a great marraige tool.

This really is a great book and I highly recommend it. My only major criticism is that it is very one sided. A majority of the book is spent telling women what they are doing wrong. I felt as though this book was written for women not both genders.
